Anyone want to reccomend a good CS for MGM? i dont think i've ever eaten there, doesn't seem to be many choices. favorites, everyone?? :goodvibes

There really isn't many choices. We like Pizza Planet and Back Lot Express. Rosie's is ok, although my DD(7 at the time) voted them the worst chicken nuggets in WDW!! Maybe they were overcooked or sitting out to long:confused3 I'm not sure.

Have fun whichever you choose!!

My DD also loves the Pizza Planet. She is a pizza nut so I always let her pick that one.

Yep I agree Pizza Planet, I love the Junk Yard Meal- Veg. Pizza, Salad, drink and a cookie. Will be there Sept. 22

Has anyone ever gotten a sandwich from Starring Rolls? Any idea if you can get it as a CS?

Last summer we were able to get a sandwich, piece of fruit (in place of a bag of chips) dessert and a bottle of water for a counter service credit.

We also love Backlot Express. Great selection and usually not very crowded. ABC Commissary has also gotten better over time.

We like the pizza deals at Pizza Planet. There is not a kids menu so all of us can get a side salad, personal pizza, large beverage and a cookie. Also like the backlot express. They have a kid's meal that comes in a pencil box type thing. Not sure if it is included with DDP,though. They have a good salad and hotdogs, too , I think. The ABC commisary had more unique items, none that my picky kids (and DH) would eat.

The pulled pork sandwich and the chicken with black beans and rice are yummy at the Backlot Express (now called the Flatbread grill)

No actually thats not the Backlot express. The backlot express still exists. Flatbread grill used to be the Studio Catering Company.

I know its confusing because Backlot express is not the restaurant near the backlot tour (thats the Flatbread Grill). Backlot express is by Star Tours.

I stand corrected, you are right. The food is great at the Flatbread grill.
