CS Hollywood Studios - Meal Plan

For our visit in January, my husband and I will be on the meal plan. The way our schedule works out we will end up having two counter service meals in Hollywood Studios. We've never really had many counter service meals in HS so just wondering what is best "bang for our buck" on the meal plan as well as decent food. Possibly open to leaving HS for a meals and going to one of the Boardwalk area resorts.

We enjoy the Backlot Express. I find the burgers are filling and are pretty good, and we always love watching the Jedi Training if it is happening while we eat.

i second Backlot Express! they offer free refills as well!

The most asked question about meals is the age old conundrum of where to eat at HS. For some reason despite the complaints Disney hasn't improved the options here.

I would whole heartily agree with Backlot Express as the best option.

Beyond that you might try Fairfax Fare. The menu has changed a lot since the last time we ate there where the best thing I could say was (to paraphrase Woody Allen)... The food wasn't that great but at least the portions were large.

We liked the Backlot Express, we have also taken the boat over to the Boardwalk Bakery in the past.
