Our family (DH, DS(7) and myself) likes to eat lunch at Carnation Cafe. DS will be bringing a friend to the parks with us tomorrow, and there is nothing she likes on the menu at that restaurant. Does anyone know if we'd be allowed to bring in a hot dog for her from the Refreshment Corner next door, while the rest of us order from the Carnation Cafe menu?

I saw someone bring in one of those soup bread bowls and drinks into Blue Bayou once and no one seemed to have a problem with it.

I don't think they'd have a problem with it. I have dietary restrictions and have taken food from one place into another when what's safe for me doesn't sound good, but I always order a beverage.

We were planning on bringing in just a hot dog for DS's friend, but still ordering her a drink from Carnation. I am hoping that it will be okay since the other 3 of us will be ordering all of our food and drinks from the Carnation menu. I guess we will find out tomorrow....

I'm sure you'll be OK. If Disney doesn't raise eyebrows at an adult bringing in a hamburger, they won't raise eyebrows at a child bringing in a hot dog. Besides, I'm sure they'd rather have a happy, quiet child munching a hot dog from another venue than a cranky, upset child sitting and watching others eat!!
