Counter Service Dining Reviews
Our family is me & DH, both WDW veterans and twin boys who will be two in November. My plan was for DH and I to share our meals with the boys and limit the times we ordered separate items just for them. They are both typically good eaters and try a wide variety of foods. It turns out they were both sick during our trip and didn't eat much at all. They didn't eat at meals and they didn't really eat the snacks I brought that they consume in vast quantities at home.
We hit a few old favorites and tried some new things too. I had other places I wanted to go, but we ended up with at least two meals from the Beach Club Marketplace because our boys just couldnt keep going in the parks. Some meals we split, some we each got our own meal. Our boys really ate very little compared to how they eat at home.
I did not get a printout of our dining plan usage when I checked out, so I did the math myself. I used 6% instead of 6.5% tax by mistake and I'm too lazy to fix it now!
Cosmic Rays Starlight Café
We popped in here when it started raining. The adults werent really hungry, so we got one meal thinking the kids would eat most of it. They didnt.
We had:
Chicken strips & fries
Large soda
Brownie
TOTAL with tax = $12.58 for 1 CS credit
ABC Commissary
We did morning EMH at MGM in the rain, then ate here while it rained and then left the park.
We had:
Chicken Curry
Cuban Sandwich & fries
2 large sodas
Chocolate mousse
Macadamia tart
TOTAL with tax = $24.95 for 2 CS credits
Beach Club Marketplace
Using a breakfast credit here was a real waste. DH insisted on some breakfast food, so he went down and brought this back. He didnt finish it and the boys wouldnt touch it. He was not allowed a dessert or any side item at all.
We had:
Crossant egg sandwich (basically an omlet stuck in a crossant)
Apple juice
TOTAL with tax = $8.46 for 1 CS credit
Flame Tree Barbeque
We chose this one hoping our boys would eat the corn on the cob. They actually did. The frozen lemonade was a big hit too!
We had:
Half chicken meal
Rib meal
2 large sodas
Key lime pie
Frozen lemonade
TOTAL with tax = $28.16 for 2 CS credits
Pecos Bills
They offer NO dessert except PEANUT BUTTER! I couldnt believe this. We do not have peanut allergy, but havent really given peanuts to the boys either. The CM said he could sub a bottle of water, but that was the only choice.
We had:
Chicken wrap & fries (DH and I split the wrap, the boys split the fries and chowed on pickles from the topping bar)
Peanut butter brownie
Large soda
TOTAL with tax = $13.22 for 1 CS credits
Electric Umbrella
Believe it or not, DH was asking for a burger instead of something fancy. We really should have just used one credit here since we threw a lot of the food away.
We had:
2 double bacon cheeseburgers & fries
2 large sodas
Fruit cup
Strawberry shortcake
TOTAL with tax = $27.21 for 2 CS credits
Tusker House breakfast
After we ate here I was kicking myself for not coming here the previous morning we were at AK. It was good!
We had:
Scrambled egg w/bacon
Scrambled egg w/sausage
Cheese Danish
Cinnamon roll
2 orange juice
TOTAL with tax = $20.50 for 2 CS credits
Beach Club Marketplace
Lunch was a much better value here than breakfast. Sandwiches could be hot or cold. DH and I split this one.
We had:
Turkey and Mozzarella on Sourdough Baguette
20oz bottle of soda
King sized bag of chips
Rice krispie treat
TOTAL with tax = $14.05 for 1 CS credits
Hurricane Hannahs
The boys slept while we ate the sandwich from BC Marketplace so we got them this at the pool bar. They ate about half, then toddled off to play in the sand.
We had:
Hot dog with chips
Cookie
20oz soda
TOTAL with tax = $11.10 for 1 CS credits
Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station
I really wanted to try this and I was not disappointed. The pot stickers were crispy, not steamed, but still good.
We had:
Teriyaki chicken with rice
Shrimp pad Thai
2 pot stickers
2 medium sodas
TOTAL with tax = $29.65 for 2 CS credits
Beach Club Marketplace
Took this one to the airport with us. Same as we got before, only the sandwich was cold.
