CS convention center questions

Going to an education convention at CS on Tues. Never been to CS or to a convention at WDW. Wondering the following:
1. Anyone know what the temp of the convention center rooms is like? Will be in there almost all day, but it will be 93-95 outside so wanted to dress accordingly.
2. We get a continental breakfast and lunch each day of the convention. Was wondering if anyone could speak to the offerings at convention meals at CS.

Also, if there is another board/thread/website where I could find out specifics about CS conventions, that would be great if you could share. I haven't had much luck in my searches.

The rooms for me were comfortable but I like them on the cooler side and I did see people with a light sweater or jacket. The continental breakfast is your basic, fruit, bagels etc. For a 4 day conference I would usually grab a breakfast sandwich from cafe Rix on 2 of the days. Lunch can be anything from a box lunch, sandwich, chips and a drink, to a hot lunch. This all depends on the conference and what they spend their money on. Each conference can pick and choose whatever they want for food packages etc. Below is a link that shows the possible conference rooms.

I have been to CSR conventions in both October and early November and the rooms are quite cool. I usually wear pants even if I am still wearing skirts back home. The food has always been wonderful.

Our conference has a hot lunch each day, and sometimes a box lunch available on the last half-day. The hot lunches have been where you go through a line (once) and serve yourself as much or as little of salad, a variety of dressings/toppings, a selection of sides, choice of 2-3 entrees, bread then go to another station to select from 1-2 soups, then to another station to select from 2-3 desserts (brownie, fruit, various cookies - take as little or as much as you like), then to another station for drinks (hot/cold teas, coffee, lemonade, water...) We also have snacks during the day - stations setup with the snack of the day (such as hot pretzels - yum!) and a variety of drinks (including soft drinks). The breakfasts are typically fruit, bagels, muffins, pastries with coffee and juices.

The Disney convention staff is too-notch are I am always impressed with their organization and execution. The conference I attend has over 1600 attendees and we use the entire convention center from front to back. As someone who loves Disney it's awesome to see them in action somewhere other than the parks. Enjoy! I hope you have a great work trip!

I've been to two conferences there and found them to have great conference facilities. I'm usually warm but I was very happy to have a sweater or jacket in the rooms as I found them to be on the chilly side. the food was good, better than many other conferences but remember that food depends on what the organizers plan. My conference had continental for several breakfasts then a full breakfast. The continental had more than enough, if I remember correctly it was pastries, fruit, cereal?

Then the other benefit - it's a Disney resort!

Just finishing up with the conference now and it has been great! We got eggs, breads or muffins, cut up fruits, and coffee/ juices for breakfast. Lunch was plated and served to us; salad, hot entree, and dessert with iced tea and water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was the nicest conference venue and food I've had yet.
