CS close to All Star Sports suggestions

Just wondering if there are options for counter service meals other than the food court at All Star Sports near by. We arrive late morning and likely can't get into our rooms right away so I figured we'd go find a late breakfast or early lunch. I'm determined that this time I'm at DW I'm not eating any cheeseburgers-all I ate last time. Is there something that's nice within not too far walking distance or via bus. I'll be with my ds who is in a wheelchair so needing to take the bus may add too much time. I know we're relatively close to AK. We have park hopper tickets. Or is there enough variety at the food court?

Thanks,

Afraid there is nothing within walking distance from AS that is not going to be CS. Down the street CSR has a nice breakfast in the Maya Grill, their sit down restaurant.

Boma at AKL is not that far and they have a sit down restaurant and serve breakfast.

You can check out menus here: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm

You can go ahead and use WDW Transporation, just pre check in. Then I would suggest the following:
Kona or GF Cafe they are both great for breakfast or lunch but close to MK.

Remember that you have three All Stars to choose from. The menus are basically the same but there is pizza and some pasta choices.

There are no resort to resort buses so you are pretty much stuck with the food courts.

Thanks,

Depends what you want to eat but the only thing in walking distance are the the othe All Stars. You need to look over other ressturants to see what you want. You can take a bus or a Taxi.

There is plenty of good stuff in the All-Star food courts besides cheeseburgers!

The roast turkey platter and grilled salmon salads at Sports are both terrific. The chicken quesadilla is also tops.

At Movies there is a carving station with delish pork loin and london broil.

All three food courts have stuff unique to them, not found at the other two. All three have a wide variety of stuff beyond cheeseburgers. I think if you look over the All-Star menus on the link that Grumpy92 posted above, you will see what I mean.

Give the All-Star food courts a chance. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, not only at the variety, but at the high quality of the food and service.

Check out the food court at AS Movies. :thumbsup2 When we were at Sports last September, we enjoyed several meals at Movies because they seemed to have a better selection. Have a great time!

Thanks for the replies and pointing me to the menus. I hadn't realized how much variety a food court could have. We'll stick with walking around the All Star resorts while we wait for our room to be ready. Thanks again

Please note that the chicken and turkey platters and the salmon salad are listed as only being available at dinner.
