CS at resorts

Can anyone recommend a CS restaurant at another resort (we are staying at POR) that might be worth trying. We decided to have a relaxing afternoon/evening at POR during one of our days, and I am looking for a place to have dinner. I am interested in seeing other resorts and how they are decorated for the holidays (we will be there during Christmas week.) We will have our car, so I think we will just drive over and come back.

While we are there, we have ADR's for Boma, Chef Mickey's, Ohana, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and Garden Grill. So, we will already see the Contemporary, AKL, Poly, and WL. I heard GF is a nice resort to check out, but what is their CS restaurant like? Is is any different than any other CS....or are all CS restaurant pretty much the same and should we just stay put for the evening???

Well if you are interested in cking out other resorts for cs & christmas deco's. Then I suggest you ck out Coronado Springs. The Pepper Mart sounds like something you might be interested in & the Christmas deco's are awesome. Saw pic's on the boards here go ck the pic's out.

I would highly recommend Gasparilla's Grill & Games at the Grand Floridian because aside from their usual Burgers and Hot dogs they also have a variety of other items on their menu. So why don't you see it for yourself. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=30

Take a look at Mara at AKL.

We stayed at WL in April and really like the CS at Roaring Forks. I've been told that WL is the best decorated resort during Christmas and they have a huge fireplace with rocking chairs to sit in. Very relaxing place to visit.

Thanks for all of your suggestions! Since we are going to AKL (Boma) and WL (Whispering Canyon Cafe) I might want to go elsewhere so I can see another resort. BUT if there is a CS place that should be tried because it is different (Pepper Market looked like it had different choices) I would go to a resort twice!

Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club or Grand Floridian is a nice option too.

Beaches and Cream is not a CS restaurant. If you are using the dining plan, it's a TS credit.

The Pepper Market at CSR!! You can get steak dinner for CS credit.

I would go to the GF....it is nicely decorated at xmas and I thought they did have more selections at their CS.
