Cs At Mgm?

We are looking for a good cs meal at MGM. If possible maybe even to split, because we have a 4:10 ADR at MM for the fantasmic package. How is backlot express? any other good palces with large portions?

We went to Backlot Express in January. It was good. We had chicken fingers , double cheeseburgers, and a salad. We were on the dining plan, so we had a lot of food. They did have frozen coke!!!! Desserts were chocolate cake, and some kind of pudding thing. We ate inside, but there is a nice outside seating area. We also ate at about 11:30, when we were finished eating, the lines were quite long.

We've eaten at the ABC Commisary before, but not backlot. I don't think the portions are very large, but probably somewhere between large and average. I got the fish and chips meal...3 pieces of fish, each about 2" x 5", and the fries were about the same size as a medium McDonald's fries. I thought the fish was pretty good, too. My son got the hamburger (or maybe cheeseburger, can't remember ) combo....same amount of fries and a good-sized burger. We were satisfied when we were finished, but not full...but we were STARVING when we got there. I think if we were just hungry, we would have been full.

DH and I ate at the ABC and thought the portions were large. We ate there and felt sick/full for the rest of the day (from noon to 6 PM). We had the turkey sandwich and shared fries. We have said we would never go there again because it appeared that the CM were not organized (i.e. people who ordered their meals after us were getting their food before the people in front of us who were waiting for their food). Also, the food just made us feel gross for the entire day.

I like Backlot Express and the Pizza Planet.

We ate the toy story pizza planet, and we were on the ddp. I don't know if the plan has changed any(if it has someone please let me know for our upcoming trip) but we got plenty of food. We all had a personal pizza meal, the pizza and a salad. We also had a medium drink, and choice of desert. We liked the rice krispie treats shaped like mickey.

We ate at Back Lot and really enjoyed it, also we did split as we had early adr for 50's as well. We had plenty and it was good.

We ate CS at MGM twice in Dec at Backlot and ABC. Backlot was by far the better of the 2. The ABC commisary was pretty bad. Next time I'm trying Pizza Planet or eating at Sci-Fi!

We just got back, & we had pizza planet. It is a personal pizza, but still big enough to hold you over until dinner. It also comes with a small salad or chips. We also had Sci-fi, & DH & I split a hamburger. I was very full after that.
