CS at DHS for lunch?

So now with the new all-day menu at 50s Prime Time Cafe, we are thinking of going there for dinner instead of for lunch. It will be me, DH, our 2 boys (ages 5 and 7 when we go), 4 other adults, and 2 girls (ages 11 and 8 when we go). We are looking for a CS for lunch to make it affordable for everyone. We need to eat at the park so that the kids can eat between 11:30 and 12, and we could still do some attractions afterwards. Any ideas? We won't be on any of the dining plans, if that makes a difference.

We love the ABC Commissary. It's just behind the American Idol attraction.

I would suggest the Backlot Express, as the best of not very impressive group.

I would recommend ABC Commissary or Backlot Express.

If your group likes BBQ, Fairfax Fare has great BBQ and they have big enough portions to share which could make it more affordable.

Starring Rolls has HUGE sandwiches which are also easy to share. There's enough meat in them for probably three people, but not sure where you could get bread. My kids like eating the meat without the bread, so that works for us.

I like both Pizza Planet if you are in a pizza mood ( I think its tasty) or ABC Commissary if you want some more space and a more chill environment in the AC. Pizza Planet can get a bit hectic. I think I am going to go to Pizza Planet when I am in DHS in Nov.

I LOVE Starring Rolls and the kids LOVE Pizza Planet...sometimes I think as much for the arcade games as the pizza!!!

DH and I ate at the Backlot Express. Mostly because we wanted to eat INDOORS and we were nearby. I was very pleasantly surprised. We shared the chicken nuggets and fries and really enjoyed them. I'd go there again.

So, let me get this straight...if we want to be indoors in the A/C, we should either go to Backlot or ABC Commissary. What about Starring Rolls? Do they have tables inside or outside? There will be 10 of us.

We've eaten at Backlot Express on our last two trips. We love their burgers and fries. Also, they have a drink station, so you get free drink refills.
