CS at AK?

If you had to pick between Yak and Yeti CS and Flame Tree BBQ which would you pick and why? I kind of like the idea of eating at yak and yeti because it would be something different, but I have had flame tree and what I remember is good. Any thoughts?

My DD likes Flame Tree better (I'm a vegetarian). Yak and Yeti CS was kind of like Chinese food you'd find at a mall food court. Portions are good sized, but it's also expensive.

I didn't really care for Flaming Tree. Lord knows it smells good when you're walking around but the food didn't meet my expectations.

Doesn't Tusker House have counter service as well as the buffet meal? If so, try them. The best meal I had in ALL of WDW was at Tusker House CS. I had salmon, rice and green beans. It was amazing.

well im on DDP so price is not an issue (for once!) its so hard to choose when everything is so delicious!

I have not been to Yak and Yeti, however I have been to Flame Tree before and each time I have some good meals there.

Flame Tree is one of our favorites! We always eat our CS credit there when we are at AK.

We are now big fans of both! My DH loves the flame tree BBQ, so I usually pick up my Honey chicken and mango pie at Y&Y and carry it over to eat with him at Flame tree. Both happy and plenty of covered outdoor seating.

I agree, next time we go to the MK we will have to hit the AK 2 times and give the Yak & Yeti a try. But we will probably end up at the Flame Tree twice, I love the ribs and DW the BBQ Chicken.

We haven't been to Y&Y yet, but we like Flame Tree, it's really good. Tusker House no longer has CS. That used to be our favoirte CS at AK.

I've done both and I believe my groups unanimous decision would be Flame Tree. While I liked my eggrolls from Yak & Yeti everyone else grumbled that they liked Flame Tree food much better.

When Tusker House switched over to buffet, they eliminated the counter service, I am sad to tell you.

And OP, I know this isn't what you asked, but I am very fond of the hot Italian deli sandwich at Pizzafari, and would personally choose it over either Yak & Yeti or Flame Tree.
