I know there is a list re snack credits, but how do you actually know if something is allowed as a counter service and snack credit.

I think someone said there was a logo for each of some type???

Now my ADRs are booked I am doing a small notebook of helpful things like this, so when we get there hopefully it will be straight forward. :goodvibes

Almost everywhere displays a square ddp logo next to items that qualify for snacks. All the parks and resorts counter service are game but you do have to ask what comes included.

E.G. at EArl of Sandwich some desserts can be exchanged for some side orders but not all. At most pool bars a packet of oreos or chips is the norm instead of dessert. Sadly there is no other way at most CS than asking the server.

Most Disney places are now good at labeling snack credits with the little square purple DDP logo.

CS - most main meals qualify and most desserts. The only places that are little bit more haphazard are the none disney owned places suchs as Earl of Sandwich.

If there is something you want ask. I tend to find the easiest way is to tell the cashier when you order you are on the DDP - they are so used to it they will help you out :thumbsup2 Also if you are using some credits and some OOP tell them as it has to rung as two seperate orders :goodvibes

For 90% of our holiday we used the counter service and snack credits for breakfast.

We put everything we wanted on 2 trays and the cashier did the rest. Often times she grouped the counter service food together, put that through and then sorted the snacks out. Plus if we were short of something like another drink or a piece of fruit she would tell us.

If we used the credits in the park it was usually for a bottle of water or a dole whip or an ice crem. These were all snack credits.

By the time we left at 21 days we had almost nothing left :goodvibes
