just wondering for those who have eaten there how long the entire dining experience was? Thanks!

I ate breakfast there last week. Between eating and getting a picture with all the characters we were in there about an hour and fifteen minutes. I'm not sure if that was normal amount of time or not though since I've only been there once.

Usually at least an hour, maybe another 15-20 minutes, to meet all the characters and finish our meals.

We had dinner there a few years back. The reservation was around 8:30pm. We were in there a good hour and a half.

Hour to hour and a 1/2. You could make it shorter, but then I would do something cheaper.

100 minutes for our lunch ADR in May 2016. For the money spent, you want to get at least one interaction with each character.

One hour 20 minutes for us at breakfast. Would of been done in 45 minutes but waited the rest of the time for pooh, half of the characters we already meet made it back around to us before pooh got there.

One hour for breakfast. ADR at 8am for three people. It's one of my favorite character meals!

I plan 2 hours. It won't take this long to eat but this is always a wait to get seated here. Sometimes 5 minutes we've waited 30 minutes. Then I would plan 90 minutes for eating and character meet.

It takes us an hour to eat there. However, unless it's a first thing breakfast ressie, we typically also have a 5 - 25 minute wait to be seated after checking in.

We were there for dinner, it was about an hour and half for everyone to eat Andrea for us to take photos of our little girl with all the characters.

This might be the exception, but over 2 hours for us last November for a 6pm dinner reservation.

This was our experience also. We waited 45 minutes for a 6 PM reservation. When we finally got seated, it was in between characters visiting our part of the restaurant! Tigger had just gone past our table...so we ended up waiting for him to come back around, which took forever. We actually went back to the buffet for more dessert just so that we had something to do. By the time we got out, it was so late that we almost missed our FP for SDMT! We'd never gone past the one hour window for a FP, and I was so nervous it wouldn't work (almost 10 minutes past the time when it expired), but it did, luckily! I now schedule at least two hours for all character meals and make sure to schedule all FP after the two hours I've already planned for a meal.

FWIW, I find breakfast at CP much faster than dinner. We're usually in an out in about 60-70 minutes at breakfast with an 8 AM ADR.

I'm trying to decide between keeping a lunch reservation at The Crystal Palace in 2 weeks or changing it to Liberty Tree Tavern. We're not that married to the idea of the character sightings or interactions since we're family with two older teens (15 and 18), but the food reviews sounds good and seems you would get a lot for your money at least (which might be nice after a quick cereal breakfast in the room that morning). wondering if the price and variety and/or quality is worth it if the character part aren't that critical to us? We've done character dining on Disney cruises before as the kids were growing up so it might be a little nostalgic for us, but don't want to feel like we wasted our time or money at this place for the "experience". Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They tell you when you're seated that it could take 90 minutes total to see all characters. When we went on Sunday it felt a lot shorter as we had a 10:30am reservation. The restaurant tends to empty out shortly after that as no lunch reservations between 10:45 am and 11:30 am.
