We will be at the world in Feb. -- I am considered Crystal Palace of dinner. What does everyone think of the restraurant? What is it like? Atmosphere? Food?

Thanks for info

Renee

We ate there in July with our 11 year old DS and 12 year old DD and we loved it. The adult food was great. My kids liked the kid food as well as some of the adult food. The desserts were wonderful. The characters from Winnie the pooh were there so that was fun. It was a bit noisy and crowded but that's how WDW is, right?

I'd eat at the Crystal Palace again.

The Palace is closed until December as they are refurbishing the entire restaurant. Thus, Feb will be an excellent time to hit the "new" Palace. Have always liked the place; plenty of variety in the buffet line and kids like the characters.

Ahhhh! The Crystal Palace! We loved it! Scheduled the first lunch prior to our trip last year, and it was SOOOO good we asked if it there was an PS opening for any other time during our stay... so we ended up eating there twice.

Excellent choices on the buffet - everything was very fresh and the kids selection was nice also. And we LOVED THE COOKIES!

Even if you are not interested a "Character" meal... the food is worth it! We had a large party of adults & kids and everyone wants to go there again!

We are saddened that it will not be open during our trip this year... but enjoy it in Feb for us! :D

My Bf and I did the Crystal Palce for the lunch character meal. The food was wonderful....lots of choices. We had a great time with Pooh and friends. It was a very memorable experience.
 ;) ;) ;)I couldn't wipe the smile off my face all day !!!

We had lunch at Crystal Palace this past June and had a wonderful time. The food was good and the character interaction was great! My son was on cloud nine the rest of the day, and we did several character meals during our stay. Those Pooh characters are just too squishable!

We LOVE The Crystal Palace- Unfortunately it will be close while we are there- Go & Enjoy it for all of us who won't be able to enjoy it - then tell us all abou it!!

We've had lunch there twice. Lunch is cheaper than dinner, and it's a great place to get into the A/C and have a mid-day break. Just a thought. :)

I hope the CP does reopen in time for the Christmas holidays. We had a great time there in April. The food was good and the character interaction was even better. We got some nice pictures there.

Sounds like CP has some real fans. What is the decore like? The name makes it sound very elegant. For those of you who have eaten at 1900 Park Fare and CP which one should be choose.?

Renee

I am not going to be much help, sorry.

We have eaten at both many times. Mostly breakfasts, but plenty of lunches and dinners also. Both are great places with great food. THe turn of the century atmosphere at CP really steps you back in time. The elegence of all that crystal and the food choices are great.

1900 has equally good food and is also pretty inside. One of it's draws is simply visiting the GF. We like to walk around there and explore the resort.

It is a beautiful rest. and the atmosphere is very nice. It seems like you're getting so much more for your money with the lovely surroundings. We love it.

We visited both CP and 1900 Park Fare on our first trip almost two years ago. Both restaurants were very nice. If you are going for the character interaction, I would choose based on which ones you would most like to see. I don't think you could go wrong with either one!
