Hi everyone,

So we have kind of decided that we are going to go to Crystal Palace for Harley's 3rd Birthday. Can you answer some questions for me....

Do the characters change dependant on whether you do breakfast, lunch or dinner?

What did you think of the menu?

Would you choose breakfast, lunch or dinner and why?

We plan on going on the 16th Jan so do you think I need to make a reservation as Jan is pretty quiet?

Thanks guys! :goodvibes

I did the breakfast, it was really nice food and the place was packed. I had Winnie-the-Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger come round and saw each one twice.

:cool1: we love crystal palace ,breakfast lunch or dinner all fantastic food ,great service, good amosphere. And winnie, eyeore, and piglet too.We always eat at least once at crystal.:cool1:

We had breakfast at CP and the food was really nice. they will make you mickey shaped pancakes. it was also pooh and friends there too

I had a lunch there for my birthday 7 years ago for my 21st as I love tigger and pooh. It was great, we plan on going back this year as well for a meal as we are on the dining plan

We plan on doing Crystal Palace in October and have pretty much decided to go for a breakfast.
From what I can gather breakfast buffets are all much of a muchness but we want to do Crystal Palace
a) because DW is a HUGE Tigger addict
b) I would really like of family shot in front of the castle on an empty Main Street
c) it will be nice to finish breakfast then have a look round the park before it gets too busy.

We've done CP for both breakfast and lunch and really enjoyed both & we would definately go again :thumbsup2 probably for breakfast just for the early pics :goodvibes

I love CP. We have done B & D - both were very nice.

The characters are always the same - they don't change them. As to when you should go - well if you want to get into the park early then go for breakfast & try to get a 8ish ADR (unless it is EMH that day then Main Strett should be nice & empty).

If you want somewhere to take a break later in the day, and look forward to then go for lunch or dinner.

Have fun:)

we have done CP for Breakfast lunch and diner, but not all on the same day :rotfl2:

The restaurant is bright which I think is good and the character interaction is generally good. It is a buffet type meal where you help yourself rather than a menu with service although drinks are served at the table. The food choices are usually quite varied with a good selection fish, beef, chicken, salads, desserts, childrens offerings such as Mac cheese, nuggets etc. The quality, I think, is pretty good given the audience and the size catered for.

We are booked there in May for lunch. The first time we eat there we did not book and initially regretted this (February so a quiet time) as there was no room at the inn but just as we were leaving they managed to fit us in. I would suggest you get a ADR to be sure.

We went for lunch last June - booked an ADR otherwise wouldn't have got in. Saw all the characters and got some good pics. Food really good, although the choice for the kids wasn't big. We booked for 1.30 and it was really busy so had to wait for our table. WE did come out about 2.55 in time for 3oclock parade and the place was only about half full. SO i would say if you could wait don't go at a peak time.

Agree with you. We went for the latest possible lunch and it was very quiet. Characters came around several times.

Love Crystal Palace, been there for lunch and dinner, we always go on every trip. I would go for lunch or dinner because the puddings are fab :lmao:

Thanks for this too were hoping to have a crystal palace dinner :)

Have done both breakfast and dinner. Both were great.

We, too, would recommend late as possible for either breakie or dinner, as you get longer with and more interaction from the characters.:woohoo:

We got some fantastic photos - crazy poses and as we had the last booking for dinner (prob too late for a 3 yr old), the cast members would not let the characters go until everyone had got the photo opportunities that they wanted.:cheer2:

Your 3 yr old will love the "parade" the children join in with!!

If it is something you really want to do make an ADR so that you are not disappointed;)

Thank you everyone, it sounds great, I think I am going to book an ADR for breakfast on the day of his birthday, he will love the waffles and stuff and it's his day so I want to do everything to make it a good one for him. Usually we have just returned so he has always had his birthday either jet lagged or flying so it will be nice to actually have a birthday there for once! :)

Is there a specific place where you think it's better to sit when you are in the restaurant?

We have done CP breakfast EVERY time we go to WDW and always get the 08:05 on our first full day. We love it and the kids love it.:worship:
