I'm taking the family to the MK for my birthday in March and we're debating where to eat. The Crystal Palace is the front runner. My question is, how is it? It was great in '06, our last visit to the MK. Thanks in advance for any help I may receive.

We were there in January. We really enjoyed it. The food was good...your basic breakfast buffet. Server was very friendly. Characters were funny and spent plenty of time at each table (way too much at some, actually!) Our only complaint was that the first three characters came within about 40 minutes. We were ready to hit the park as soon as it opened. Then the server told us Eeyore was also there. It was at least another half hour before he made it to our table. That was a long time to sit and wait since we were done eating and could see people heading into the park. But once the server told dd Eeyore was there, there was no leaving until he made it to our table. I'd still recommend going for sure...just get an early time!

It's awesome! We had breakfast there in 05 and loved it so when we went back in 07, we did two breakfasts, a lunch and a dinner and all meals were great. It's our favorite table service out of all 4 parks. We'll be there again for ds's birthday in 2010.

In Oct of '08, we did lunch there and it was excellent. Took a long time, but worth it.

Its fantastic  .

We were there in January on my son's 13th birthday trip. He got a great card signed by all the Pooh characters from our server.

Buffet has excellent food. Very yummy and so very much to choose from!! DS said they had the best chicken nuggets of any restaurant we ate at all week.

Pooh and Friends are great....they spend lots of time for pictures and autographs at each table. They have a little parade for the kids through the restaurant which is very cute to watch.

The location (right near Cinderella's castle) can't be beat. :thumbsup2 So convenient to eat right in the park!

Enjoy....you will have so much fun. :) This was our favourite character dinner of our trip!

I can't speak from experience but when I was listing my ADRs for inspection I have several people say "what no crystal palace?" That was the only place that got more than one suggestion so on the list it went. We are doing dinner.

I've done CP several times, and am doing it again in March. I find it to be a really great buffet and the character interaction is top-notch. I was hoping to do Chef Mickey this time around (I'm taking my two-year-old niece for her first visit), but wasn't able to get a reservation (not that I won't keep trying!).

I think that the CP character breakfast is my favorite meal at Disney so far. We've done it twice, and I'd like to add it to our ADRs for our June trip, but DD wants to meet Donald and Daisy, so maybe not.

The character interaction is very good, and I just love the food (the fried dough w/ cinnamon and sugar on the kids buffet is scary good).

We went last May and really enjoyed it. The buffet was great, the character interaction was top-notch. Pooh and friends really do take their time with each table. I give it a " :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 "

We had lunch at CP in Sept 07... Our time was one of the first ADR's and the line went on forever!!

The food was great though!

Next time I want to try the breakfast :)

Echo here...

CP was by far one of our favorite dinners on our last trip on March 08. Very good assortment of menu items. Desserts were fabulous. My DH still talks about the FLAN. Character interaction was OK. The service was FABULOUS though!

Have fun!

We've gone on our past two trips and will be going again in a few weeks. I CAN'T wait. It's our favorite so far, probably because our DS LOVES Pooh. He watches him like a hawk from across the room waiting for his turn and when he gets it he doesn't want Pooh to leave. It's the best. The food is great too, for both breakfast AND lunch! Have yet to try dinner there.
