Hi! I just made reservations for The Crystal Palace today.
I'm going to the breakfast.
Has anyone seen any characters there with or instead of Pooh and friends?
I need tips!

I really enjoyed the Crystal Palace, my DH did not. At the time we went we didn't have kids, so he wasn't thrilled with the characters. When we were there at the end of 2005 it was all Pooh & friends, so I'm assuming it is still the same. Hope that helps :)

Yes, it is Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eyeore. I have been there twice in the last two years and they were the same both times. BTW, the breakfast is wonderful, didn't like the dinner very much (well, at least my mom didn't)

Have a great time.

My DD13 and I are actually going to the CP 2 times on this trip. So glad to hear that breakfast is good!!! Thanks!! We thought that dinner buffet was great! Lots of variety and we enjoyed the Pooh and friends milling about! The atmosphere was electric but not too wild. The restaurant itself is beautiful in appearance. My DD13 says to tellyou the rice infused with cinnamon was awesome!!! Have fun!!

We had dinner at the CP in Feb. Pooh, Tigger, Eyeore and Piglet were all there. We loved it! The buffet was diverse, I enjoyed my chicken ,pasta and dessert. DH loved the wood- grilled beef and salads. Kids ate well too. Excellent Choice.:thumbsup2 Enjoy! Don't forget to check out the CP menu section on the DIS and allearsnet.com.:cool1:

We have reservations here for dinner in Sept. My ds (age 6) picked it out. I was surprised he didn't pick Chef Mickey, so I was extra glad I asked him for his opinion as I worked on our ADRs. To me, a lot of the character meals are a little overkill with the princess theme. I'm not sure how this princess obsession with the girls got started, but I can't blame Disney for cashing in! He is very excited about Lilo & Stitch at Ohanas as well! But to be frank, my kid is a Pixar kid and those characters don't seem to be available yet for such events.

We ate breakfast at CP on our last trip and LOVED it. Of course, I'm a big Pooh and Friends fan...they are my most favorite characters. We enjoyed it so much that we have ADR's for breakfast there again on our upcoming trip.
I have to say that I would be devastated if someone else were there instead of Pooh and the gang!

My family started going to Crystal Palace for breakfast 5 years ago and we have gone every year since. It is always Pooh, Tigger and Eyeore (they walk around the room and come to tables) Piglet is always in the middle of the restaurant (you can line up for his picture he does not visit tables). They also have a children's parade that's fun to watch.

Also, if you're going for breakast you must try the breakfast lasagna. It looks, um, interesting but it tastes amazing (waffles, poundcake, bananas, blueberries, custard and more!)

I love the Crystal Palace. I've only been to WDW once in my life (sad, I know) and we had breakfast there in 2004 and it was wonderful!!! All Pooh characters though. Not a problem with us. We have ADR's for breakfast there again this trip on our first day in the parks.

Chip and Dale always show up and we have been 3 times and in June it will be our 4th. Love the CP

We did CP for dinner in March and the food was AWFUL! The character interaction was great and it was just Pooh and friends. I hope the breakfast is better...

Thanks to HdnMickeyGrl we will try the "breakfast lasagna" hey why not!!!?? We are getting close to our travel date and sooo looking forward to our new tradition( this is only our second time) of the first meal is at CP!! We love pooh and his pals!!!
