I know we want to do and ADR for CP but not sure what meal would be best.

Which meal or meals there have you done and which did you like the best (if more than one)?

I am leaning to lunch and doing this on our scheduled 'slow' day.

Thanks!

Lori

We enjoy lunch. Why? 1 I am awake ;) No rushing around to get there. 2 it is a nice break from the heat & the kids are not so tired. The food has always been great. I do want to try breakfast next time because I have heard good things about it.

We've only done lunch (a few days ago) and loved it. We liked or loved pretty much everything we had. The only thing that wasn't a hit was the curried noodles which my 6 yr old dd didn't like as they were spicy lol. Hey, I warned her, but she wanted them.

We really liked the mushroom pasta in cream sauce (not sure of real name), green beans, rotisserie chicken and all the desserts. Heck, I wish I was having lunch there today.

I have had lunch and breakfast at the CP. I prefer breakfast. I am not a morning person, but I am always glad I make myself get up and get to the MK early for breakfast at the CP. We were able to take pics of the kids by the castle with no one else in the background. The food is always good and lots to choose from. Characters make their way to our table with no problems. I have seen others complain about this tho. Someone right next to us this past trip was having a fit and complaining that Eeyore never stopped by. Anyway, my vote is CP for breakfast :)

We usually have at least 1 dinner at the CP, we love it! However, we tried the breakfast at CP in May and I adored it!! It was one of the better breakfasts I've ever had at Disney! And you definitely can't beat having an early adr to get those great park shots without many people in them! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

If you look at the menus on Allears, the lunch and dinner are very similar (or at least they used to be). We have APs, so we got the DDE, and figured the best value would be lunch. The food and character interaction are wonderful, and we usually have a very light dinner afterwards. We don't do many character breakfasts, as I'd rather spend a few more $ and have a big lunch/dinner. This Sept, we are doing the free DDP, so we will be trying the dinner there for the first time. I think at dinner they have the peel and eat shrimp, which is always a plus!

We have been for both lunch and dinner and enjoyed both. This time we are going for breakfast. I like the thought of going into MK an hour before rope drop.

We've been to breakfast there twice, and loved it! If you are really breakfast people, it has just about anything you could want for breakfast, plus unusual things like breakfast lasagna. It was all delicious! First time, we had an 8:05 PS, finished by 9:00. I did feel a bit rushed, tryng to be done by 9:00, so this year we went on an emh morning, toured from 8:00 to 10:30, then had the latest breakfast seating, which was good as well. Food was still plentiful and fresh, even at the late seating. I had worried about that. Frankly, a lunch seating might be more efficient as far as touring (you are not wasting prime morning hours). But we (especially dd) just like breakfast food more.

We had lunch there in Dec, the first seating time. I was so pleasantly surprised in how good it was. I am not a big buffet person, but between the fact that everything was fresh out of the kitchen & the fact that we had been up since 7am without eating, I loved it. :teeth:

I have been recommending lunch there to folks ever since.

We like breakfast there the best. The food is always good. The lunch was okay, but it was really really busy when we went. I think by lunch I am not as hungry usually b/c it is so hot that I don't enjoy the food as much.

But breakfast is my favorite. :goodvibes

We love their breakfast. This is one of the best breakfasts in WDW. My youngest daughter is very picky and she found all kinds of things to eat. The character interaction is wonderful and we have great pictures of the kids with the characters. The service was very good and we love the decor as well. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

I love both breakfast and lunch. If I had to pick one for the food it would be lunch (I'm not big on breakfast foods). However I like making breakfast Ps/ADR for before the parks open.

We liked the lunch, but we got there on a EMH morning at rope drop and so by lunchtime were ready to eat and then work our way out. It was a nice way to move into our afternoon break, and the food was really very good, particularly for a buffet. Enjoy!

We went for lunch in January and were not very thrilled with the food. Given the rave reviews I've seen, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to a bad day. On the more upside, the interactions Pooh and the gang were very lively. Tigger gave me bouncing lessons around the table much to my children's delight. We're planning to try it again for breakfast this time when DW and I go in December.

We have had all three meals there and we enjoy breakfast the most. We try to get one of the later breakfast seatings and find that towards the end it isn't busy at all and the characters are all out having fun. We also find the price a little more managable for breakfast.
