Crystal Palace Timing - late breakfast?

Any advice on a late breakfast at Crystal Palace? Any good or bad experiences? Thinking of taking advantage of EMH and hopefully riding a bunch of rides first thing. Then going to breakfast at 10:30. Worried that food won't be fresh, kids won't see characters. I prefer breakfast food to lunch/dinner for some variety based on other meals planned.

You'll be fine. They'll start transitioning the buffet to lunch at around 11, but they'll leave one side as breakfast as long as there are still guests from breakfast (provided they don't camp out, that is).
