Trying to decide if we should or not. I don't care about the character part...thanks!

It is loud and crowded but the decor is very pretty. I love their buffet for lunch or dinner and I don't really like buffets. They have a really different selection of side dishes and even the main courses have interesting spices. They also have a yummy coconut flan on the dessert bar. Of course my DD loves seeing the characters and doing the parade around the restaraunt.

We eat there every visit. My dh loves the baked corn. It is busy but it isn't obnoxious. Enjoy

We thought it was the best dinner buffet of the entire trip. I didnt think it was loud. I think you should try it. The location is great too!

Have fun!

Love it! Do it every trip. The food is good and the character interaction is great. Yeah its loud- but isn't everything with a ton of kids?:lmao:
Go. You will enjoy it.:thumbsup2

Its definitely not something that we "have to do" every trip but we have been known to go there every other trip or so. It's "OK"...definitely not something I miss if we don't go. I do find it loud and the service to only be OK. We tend to just jump on the monorail and do one of the resort restaurants instead of the table service restaurants at MK.

We love Crystal Palace but we are Pooh fans and find the food to be a notch above some other buffets.

OTOH, with NO interest in characters, I think there are better TS restaurants at the monorail resorts around MK. (none in MK, except possibly LTT lunch.)

I was thinking the exact same thing. If you don't care about the characters, the monorail resort restaurants do have better food (and alcohol). If you're bringing children, I think 'Ohana is a good choice. They offer entertainment and fun, and the food is good. If you are traveling without children, you have many possibilities at the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian.

Skip it. If you don't care about the character's there's no reason to pay the "character premium" price for this buffet.

It's nice there. It's nice to try everything at least once. But if not you also have Tony's which is nice or Cinderella Castle.

Try it , it is sooo pretty inside and IMHO the best character interaction by far!

the food was very good -- but i am not big on buffets so i would prob not go again-- i would skip it-- but then yet again you might have a better experience that our party did and really enjoy it:) It was too crowded, loud, that day for us-- and i might have been a little miserable from the heat too:confused3 If you like buffets i am sure you would enjoy Crystal Palace:)

We always do a breakfast before park opening. The breakfast food is good, the service is excellent, and the early morning character interaction with the Pooh characters is priceless. Our 30 year old son got a running surprise hug from Piglet on our last trip and enjoyed it immensely. We make our ressies at 8:05 or 8:10 and get into the park early, eat breakfast, and I pay the tab while my wife and daughter wake up Tinkerbell. It is pure Disney magic!

Everytime we have gone we have had good food, good sevice and it is so pretty there. we love looking out and seeing the castle.

We enjoy going for an early breakfast and so that we can get into the park before it opens. Great picture time.
But we have also had lunch and dinner there and all have been very good.
