Going to Disney May 9-14 2011. 4 adults and 4 little girls 6 and under. Want to make reservations at crystal palace for breakfast mid week.Whats the best way to do this? We're getting excited and want to pre plan. Thanks for anyones help. Do we have to do the 180 day thing?

Yes...get it right at your 180 day mark. Crystal Palace ressies go fast!

If you want to eat at Crystal Palace an ADR is a must. It is not a place to walk up and expect to eat there. It is a hot restaurant.

there are a couple of ways. you can call 1800 WDW DINE or do it online. exactly 180 days before you are going, either call or log in and click "make a reservation" and fill in the required fields. good luck! crystal palace breakfast is so fun!

If you're staying at a Disney resort- you can book 180+10. Considering how many free dining offers are out there(both general public and private PIN codes)...it's advisable to get an idea of all of the places you want to eat so you can book everything at the 180 day mark. You may change your mind as those 180 days wind down, but it's better to have ressies than to be scrambling. CP books up fast. It was one of the first things I booked at my 180 day mark for our upcoming trip. I was lucky enough to secure a CP spot pre-MK opening 2 months after that point after changing my mind- but that's all luck.

I personally prefer booking online. The online system opens up 1 hr earlier on your 180 mark (6am ET), so it can help you secure tough spots and times for hot ressies. It also easier that the phone, the web site (once it's functioning) will house these ressies, plus it sends you email confirms that I like to print so that I have a copy of my confirm number with all the Diseny logos just in case they lose my ressies.
