The three of us have an ADR for breakfast at 8:25 on May 26th, I've been trying to get it earlier but no luck so far. Though I guess I was lucky enough just to move it from 8:40. How long is the wait after you check in? And how long does it take to get through the meal and get out to the park?

I was just reading old threads on this yesterday. In my contingency plan (yes, I make contingency plans lol) I have a second CP booked at 8:25, also the earliest I could get that day, and I wondered the same thing. What I read was that if you check in early there's a good chance you'll be seated early. One poster said they were seated at 8:15ish and were done and out in an hour.

I will keep trying for an earlier time but I don't feel like 8:25 is a dealbreaker either. People love to cancel this one the night before so there's a chance you could snag an earlier time even that late in the game.

ETA: my sister likes to throw curveballs into my plans if anyone wondered why on earth I need two itineraries.

We were seated at about 8AM for both of our breakfast ADRs - 8:10 CP and 8:30 Akershaus. We checked in shortly before 8 for both. Both meals took slighter under an hour.

Hey y'all! I'm new here and this is my first post, so let me apologize in advance if I commit a forum faux paux. My daughter (9) and I are celebrating our first mother/daughter vacation at WDW, staying on-site at Pop Century 3/16-3/19. I booked a 8:25 ADR at Crystal Palace because MK was supposed to open @ 9:00, then I checked the MDE site and saw that MK is now opening at 8, I flubbed our FP+ for Mine Train and had to make them for 8:05-9:05. My question is, can we make it to both without missing our ADR or forfeiting the FP? Thanks!! :flower3:

We showed up early for our breakfast reservation and were seated early. We arrived a little before 8:00 for an 8:25 reservation. We were seated within a minute. We had luck with being seated early for dinner here as well. I would suggest arriving early with the hopes of being seated early if time is a concern for you. We were in and out in about an hour. We could have slowed our pace to not be quite as rushed, but we didn't want to dilly dally any so we could be out for rope drop which was nice.

I've had many meals at the Crystal Palace, and most of the time we had to wait a bit past our ADR time. I would say you might be out and about in the park at 9:45.

One thing you can do to speed up the process is ask for the check and settle it almost as soon as you are seated. Since it is a buffet, the total is predetermined. This way you will not have to wait when you are ready to leave

Thanks for taking the time to help me out! I haven't been to WDW since I was 9, but my daughter has been three times with her grandma. 12 days until the "Magic" (even with the early Spring Breakers)!
