can you eat there in the am before the park opens without using a ticket?

I could be wrong, but I think you have to scan your ticket to get inside the park for the meal, which means it would count as being used.

No. For online or phone ADRs they will say " valid theme park admission required". They will still require a ticket before park opening time, since you would be free to roam the park after breakfast.
