Crystal Palace or Tusker House

We were thinking about Crystal Palace or Tusker House for breakfast. We have eaten at Crystal Palace before and loved it but never eaten at Tusker House. Which one is better and why? Characters aren't that important (my 2 sons are 12 and 9). We prefer good food. Thanks !

We liked the food better at TH (just me and DH). We like doing 1 character meal each trip just as a fun activity. We did like when we got to enter MK extra early for CP and taking pictures in front of the castle with no one else around though

I'd say try out Tusker House - if you're going to have an Animal Kingdom day anyway. We enjoyed the food in '08! We've also been to Crystal Palace and I actually preferred the food at Tusker House. (We had breakfast)

We had breakfast at both TH & CP last year, and both had very good food. I was able to get early reservations for both, and it was nice to have pictures in front of the castle without the crowds. As far as food goes - both have different things available & were very good.

I would say try TH if you have already eaten at CP. The juice at TH was wonderful!

Tough choice! LOVE both!
But if you havent done TH.. then I agree. Go there. One of our favorites and we just booked it again. Lots of fun for the kids.. Parades and stuff.

We ate at both on our last trip & much preferred TH. We all thought the food was better.

We think the food is much better at Tusker. We'd have breakfast there even without characters.

2 years in a row we've done TH for breakfast and we love it! I love the atmosphere and food much more at TH than CP.

We did both this year and we like them both for different things. I love the puffy french toast at crystal palace!!! I say try th if you havent been there.

I vote for Tusker House. I just loved the juice there. I think it is called Jamba Juice. The variety of breakfast foods was good as well. I really like both these restaurants for breakfast. You can't go wrong with either one.

The theme is awesome, the food was terrific and they have a special juice that my children LOVED! The Characters are all dressed in Safari clothing too! They spent a lot of time at our table also.
At Crystal Palace the characters breezed on by not stopping for long. The food wasn't all that great.. it seemed that it sat out for a while? Could have just been that day, but we wouldn't go back for that breakfast buffet.
