We are going to WDW in April. Trying to decide between Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree for dinner one night. It would be my husband and myself, dd 13, dd 11 and ds 8. Any suggestions?

We have been to CP and absolutely loved the experience. I have not been to Liberty Tree but we did enjoy our CP experience.:Pinkbounc

We've done CP for lunch in the past. They had a very good buffet. Pooh Characters for lunch. I'm not sure if they have Characters for Dinner or not. CP was closed for refurbishment when we were there this year.

We love Liberty Tree Tavern for Dinner. They serve a family style dinner with Turkey, Pork Chops and Flank Steak along with Mashed potatoes to die for, Stuffing, Mixed Vegetable, a salad of mixed greens and the most wonderful rolls with honey butter! It's all you can eat so you just ask for more of whatever you want. They have Characters for dinner. Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale dressed in Early American costumes. My DS 12, loves this restaurant for dinner. We can't make a trip to MK without making PS at Liberty Tree Tavern. In fact, this time we went twice!!:)

I'll muddy the water for you...

Food at LTT was much better (although I don't really dig the colonial garb thing at LTT on the characters - nice for the CMs but *goofy* (pardon the pun) on the characters, IMO)

For the characters & beautiful atmosphere (airy, bright, open) - CP can't be beat.

I love character meals (booked CRT, new Princess breakfast, Chef Mickey's, LTT, Tonys (replacement for CP), Hollywood & Vine & Breakfastasaurus for Oct.)

If you MUST choose - I think I'd pick based on which characters you'd rather see - Pooh & friends, or Minnie & friends.

Can you do breakfast at CP and dinner at LTT?

We loved the food, the room and Pooh and friends at CP. I do not know about Tony's.
We have wonderful, bright clear pictures of our DS who was 10 and DD who was 7 at CP with the characters. CP for Breakfast.
Feels like you are in a Southern ballroom.

LTT for dinner a must. My DH saw LTT when we were at WDW and made PS for the next day - dinner.
WONDERFUL. food was great. Characters came around often. The next table said a joke to Chip. He could not laugh out loud (no talking character).
He went partly around the corner, fell to his knees and pounded the floor. It was very funny.
My DD loved the mac & cheese.
Good pictures of my kids. Backgrounds are dark.

So, I would do both again.
If no CP, then do LTT for dinner.

It's on our list for a return to WDW next Spring.

We aren't fond of either one! It will really come down to whether you like Pooh and friends or Minnie and friends, and if you like buffet better than family style. We like the buffet better, because there are more selections! I would choose Garden Grille over both!
