Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree Tavern for Dinner

I currently have a dinner ADR at the Crystal Palace (as well as an early breakfast on my last day) and a lunch ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern.

I'm wondering, since starting in January there is no more character meal @ LTT, if I should change my lunch ADR to a Dinner one at LTT.

Which is better & why???

Just my opinion but if you have never been to LTT's Character Dinner and they are doing away with it... It would seem to be the best choice to try it before it's too late. I've only been to the Crystal Palace for breakfast and it's really fantastic, but Pooh characters twice in one day is too much for me. At LTT you get Minnie, Mickey (sometimes), Goofy, Chip and Dale. They are a blast! Goofy alone is a show. I never heard my DD laugh so hard (4 years). Very nice memories were made there. The food is ok, definitely not gourmet, but we left with our bellies full and huge grins. Hope this helps! Have a great trip!

Is it true? There will be no more character dining at Liberty Tree Tavern starting in Janurary? I was planning to make reservations there for January for a character dining meal. I'm so disappointed.

LTT is a good experience for kids to have, so i think you should go with that before its gone.

Sorry. I forgot to mention that this would be a solo dinner. Is this ok for a solo diner?

Also, the breakfast & dinner at the Crystal Palace would be on separate days.

I went once for dinner a very long time ago, but it's been quite some time.

I would go and have dinner at LTT. The characters spend a tremendous amount of time with guest at the table plus, they come around twice and more often if not real busy. The interaction with the 5 characters is great and is my son's favorite Disney restaurant. So give it a try - it won't be around after December.

I really believe that you would enjoy LTT - if you enjoy visiting one on one with the characters. Everytime, we have gone - there have been single diners. The characters visit and play around with them just as much as they would a table full of children!

I would absolutely book LTT - we have enjoyed eating there every trip. The kids love it. The expereince has always been wonderful for us. We are so disappointed that they are doing away with the character dinner....I'm glad that we were luckily able to get reservations for our trip in December.

I would suggest that you don't think about it for too long because as of a week ago they were already totally booked for several days that I checked.

As a note though - we called back 2 days later and they had an opening for us...so if at first they say it is full you may want to call back another day. The person who helped me said that they always has cancellations that create openings.

Did Crystal Place for years loved it! Never tried LLT so I am trying it in Aug. I heard all good things about LLT!

We had dinner at LTT in Dec. and it was very good. The food is not bad- kids loved the macncheese, mashed potatoes etc. There is a lot of food served family style-think thanksgiving dinner with some added meats. I love the location too. Over all a great place- do it before it's gone

I'm glad to hear so many good things about Liberty Tree Tavern. I've had lunch there a few years ago, but it's been quite some time since I've had dinner.
