We have 5TS credits but have dinner ressies at CRT that will use up 2TS. So, in total, we will only be able to have 4TS dining experiences. I've gotten ressies for Crystal Palace, Hollywood Play N Dine, Chef Mickey's, CRT, and Princess Storybook Dining. So, I will have to cancel one of these. Just looking for opinions on which is better---CP or CM? Which characters are at CP? Which are at CM?

Orrrr, is CRT dinner worth it? I know none of the princesses will show up :sad2: Might be fun anyway to eat inside the castle and get a cool wand/sword.

We have only done CP out of those two. CP has the Pooh and friends characters. This next trip (2008) we are going to Cheh mickeys. It has Mickey and the gang. We liked CP a lot. As did the kids who were just 4 and 2 at the time (youngest one wasn't born then).

Oh, and as far as CRT goes, Cinderella is the only character my youngest DS wants o meet. So we were debating between CRT breakfast or the other one she is at (is it 1900?) I am just not sure I am willing to use 2 TS credites for CRT.

Yeah, if we cancel CRT, we can do BOTH CP and CM. So, I am debating on keeping that one as well. We are going to Princess Storybook dining at Norway, so DD will get to see many princesses there. Hate to use up 2TS credits on one meal :sad1:

thats how we are feeling towards CRT. however we might do Hoop Dee Doo. And its 2 TS credits, but I thing my kids would enjoy that so much that it will be worth it.

I would cancel CM's. I just am not pleased with the food at all there or the character interaction or lack therefore of. CP is so much better.

Chef Mickey's was great and we had a great time with Goofy, Mickey & Minnie and Chip & Dale. Our DD2 and nephew 2 both enjoyed CM's as did we. The food was great and there was plenty to choose from for us and the kids. We'd previously done CP before DD was born and we enjoyed the Pooh & Friends interaction and we have an ADR for CP on 12/11/07 so that DD and nephew can experience this one too for the 1st time.

If you have young kids then i'd say do Crystal Palace. For older kids i'd say do CM's. Either way you'll enjoy the character interaction of whichever you decide to attend.

I know I'm a newbie, but I would most definitely cancel CP before canceling CM!! Before we went in June, I had several people tell me to cancel CM -- I'm so glad I didn't listen -- it was DH's and my favorite character meal! CP was our least favorite out of the six character meals we did. We love our souvenir photo that we purchased at CM and the party atmosphere was also so much more fun. The food we ate at CP was blah -- CM was better in our opinion.

FWIW, we did CRT and 1900 Park Fare too. Both are good. One deciding factor might be what do you want more pics of -- Cinderella characters (then go to 1900 Park Fare) or princesses (then go to CRT). I think the food is better at 1900 Park Fare -- but the castle is very cool!

Our family enjoyed CM the first two times. The third time it was noisy and the service was not great. The characters also didn't seem to make the rounds in a very orderly fashion. We have an ADR for a return to CP for this next trip. We went so long ago I don't think my DD remembers although we have lots of pics as the characters here came around a lot the time we visited. Guess it's a matter of preference. We enjoyed the food at both!:)

We just returned and had dinner at CP and CM. We have had breakfast at CP twice before, and prefer them for breakfast. We thought the dinner buffet was better at CM. At CM we saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. The breakfast at CP has been outstanding in the past, and the dinner was good, just not as good as CM.

We did CRT for lunch, so the princesses were there. It was definitely worth the 2 credits per person. Our waiter was excellent and the food was good, too.

Good luck making your decisions. Seeing the inside of the castle is something to at least do once!

I've been to both CP and CM and did like them both, although CM was much more noisy - but for a character meal I guess that's the norm.

Personally, I like CP much more, if only for the reason that if you get the earliest reservations (8 am) then you can get into Magic Kingdom before the park opens. I LOVE that.

Do you have CP and CM for dinner? I really enjoyed CP's breakfast. It was great! They have a ton of great food. The characters at both are good. I went to CM for lunch during free dining and I do not believe the quality of the food was as good as CP. :wizard:

As for CRT, you do get to see Cinderella. But IMO, the food isn't worth 2TS. You may be better off with keeping both CP and CM. :fish:

I went last week to both for the first time for breakfast and I certainly liked the food at CP better than CM. Now the characters at CM were better but the interaction at CP was better.

We went to CRT for dinner in 2005 on the DDP when it was only 1 credit and it was great. Not great enough for 2 credits, maybe. Since you're going to the Norway princess meal, which I've read is great, save your credits for CM and CP character meals - they're both worthwhile!
