If you had a choice between Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for breakfast, which one would you choose if you were a vegetarian.

I'm having second thoughts about the DDP because I don't see too many vegetarian choices at most of the Disney restaurants so I don't want to waste TS credits. I have two boys who become extremely restless at restaurants so that's another factor also. So I was thinking I would do just one character meal for sake of experience.

Any thoughts?

My wife hates going to Crystal palace. she says it takes forever for pooh and friends to get to the table, its loud, there is always a line for food, there are always a ton of people, and it really does take the guys what seems forever to get to the table.

chef mickey's is fun!!!!! it is smaller the palace, mickey and friends are always around and when they aren't they play music where you take your napkins a fling them in the air. mickeys sometimes will come and sit down at your table and they seem to us that they are more fun at chef mickey's then palace.

DDP is so worth it!! they have veggie things at all the buffets and if you do the basic you can try to get a character meal for all your meal, and most of them are buffet. and if you do do DDP and need just a veggie meal then you can call up the dietary line and tell them your needs and they will accommodate you. my DS 1 have allergies and they are making sure that none of his food or our food is cooked with soy. Disney really works with you.

now if you do the deluxe meal, you can have a meal with characters every meal, if you can get it. we are so overloaded with character meals this time around we won't even have to see the folks in the park. the meals are so worth it, the kids think it is so cool that mickey just sat down with them at the table and is hanging out. trust me its fun and worth it!!!

Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are the only 2 restaurants that we can always count on great service, decent food (with lots of choices for everyone), a clean restaurant, and great character interaction! :goodvibes You really can't go wrong with either! :thumbsup2
