Crystal Palace or BOG for Breakfast

Hello! Had an 8am BOG breakfast for 1/4. MK opens at 9. Switched it out for Crystal Palace breakfast since BOG menu wasn't appealing for us. Was that a mistake? Was hoping to make it to 7DMT before the rope drop gang gets in. It's our last morning. Will need to leave the park by 11:30 or 12 for a 2:30 flight. Do Crystal Palace patrons get stuck behind the rope up by the castle?

If what you want is to beat RD to an attraction, BOG is better. CP is a TS buffet for which you pay premium for characters. Even if you rush, getting fed, billed and out in 45 minutes is a stretch.

Was able to get 8:30 at BOG. Grabbed that but I'll keep trying for 8:00am. Are they strict with breakfast check in?
