We have Crystal Palace booked for 6 pm on the day we are going to MNSSHP. Looks like you could only book this time if you have MNSSHP tickets (which we do). Has anyone done this? Are the characters in their normal costumes or Halloween costumes? Also - anyone know if they let you use your Tables in Wonderland discount?

I think it's a waste of party time, and too expensive a meal during that party time.

I would not make costly and time-consuming dining reservations (anywhere at WDW) any time later than 2:30PM on a day that I was going to use expensive and short-time party tickets.

Why create a "double-hit" situation like that?

i normally agree, but my traveling party likes the idea. We've got 2 FPs before the ADR (couldn't get 3 despite hours of trying) and this trip we only have one full MK day and the party day. We like to do M&G with Pooh - and while yes, this is TS - we would see Pooh at the same time without the M&G line time. We are thinking we could get through the meal in about a hour - so hopefully be back at party events by 7 pm

A 6PM ADR is not so bad. You can really hurry things up at a buffet, at the risk of not meeting all the characters. They take 1.5h to get to every table when the room is full. It wasn’t when we were there for the first MNSSHP this year so we got in and out in 45 min. The characters are not in costume.

When you are seated, tell your server you want to go ahead and pay, so when you're finished eating/seeing characters, you can leave.

I would still ditch the ADR. Characters are not in costume at dinner but will be at the meet/greet in the park. I might be wrong, but I also think they meet as a group at the party, but will only come to your table for photos one at a time.
