Crystal Palace..is 12:30 a bad time?

We are planning on doing the Family Magic Tour this summer. The tour is 2 hours from 10 to 12. I was thinking of making a PS for the Crystal Palace for 12:30 but I know that is right in the middle of the lunch rush. We will be there on a Sunday and that is also an early entry day. Is this a time I should absolutely avoid or will we survive

PS means you will get in ahead of those who show up without PS, but it is unlike a reservation in that you will have to wait anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes...I would push your time maybe to 12:40 or 12:50 if you can, just to accomidate you coming from your tour to Crystal Palace.

Sitting in a restaurant at this time and eating the buffet (lines may be a bit long) in ac is a good way to beat the heat.
