Crystal Palace Help

I was wondering if you can have priority seating prior to the opening of WDW even if you don't stay onsite? If so how do you get into the park early for the meal? Hope this question isn't too stupid but I've never been to Disneyworld and am trying to find out as much as possible before our trip. I read on some site that you could eat at 7:30am and basically be done the meal at around 8:00am and then can enjoy the attractions even if your hotel was offsite? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

We just had breakfast at the Crystal Palace last Wednesday. The earliest PS is 8:00 a.m. You do not have to be staying on-site to have early breakfast at CP (we were staying at Royal Pacific at Universal). We were parked and on the monorail by approx. 7:30 a.m. Everyone with breakfast reservations was allowed to enter the park at 8:00 a.m. Once at the Crystal Palace, you check in and wait for them to call your name. We were seated at our table at 8:20 (we had an 8:20 reservation).

We LOVED the Crystal Palace. It is a must do for any trip in the future.

They have a check in for guests with PS's before opening at the far left when facing the main gates/train station just walk over and give them your name and you are in. Keep you PS # handy just in case.
