Crystal Palace for Senior?

I was looking for a character meal for my 80 something year old mother to experience during our December trip to Disney. I booked a 4:30 pm ADR prior to Crystal Palace on our MVMCP night. My Mom had fun when she met characters during a short prior trip to Disney. Although she has early stage dementia, she is very friendly and social. I've never been to a character meal so I'm wondering if:
(1) It is OK for adults to go to character meals without kids
(2) Crystal Palace for dinner is a good meal for a senior to try (she really likes Tigger and Pooh) and
(3) How long it typically takes to eat dinner at Crystal Palace?

My mother and I recently went to Crystal Palace and both loved it. There was a lot of families with kids but a lot of adults also. We found a lot of the families with children ate quickly and left within fory-five minutes. As adults we stayed longer and were never rushed. Our waiter was fantastic. Just as we were about to leave it started pouring and he said to sit and he brought us more to drink. We had a 5:00pm reservation and the place was very crowded, we did not have a problem with all the people and going up to the buffet. The characters visited all of the tables and spent equal time with each table which was nice. Overall, we had a great time. I think your mother and you will enjoy yourselves.

Crystal Palace is one of my favorites, this past September me and my husband went to Disney alone. We had a character meal each day for seven days! It's for EVERYONE! I love them and she will love the Crystal Palace too! I think they had the best buffet and we were never rushed to get out for the next family. I think it's wonderful that she will be going with you, have fun!
