I have read lots about CP for breakfast, but was wondering if anyone could tell me about CP for dinner. How is the character interaction at dinner? We have an adr for 5:05 on the night we are planning on going to MVMCP. What can we expect at dinner?

Charcter interaction is the same at all meals. Just wait at your table and all of the characters will get to you. Sometimes they will come individually, sometimes two or more will come to your table.

I hope this answers your question...

Well did this at about the same time on Oct. 6th just before MNSSHP and we loved it! It's a great place to dine just before the party, very festive and the food is in my opinion the best buffet food found on property. We liked it alot more than Chef Mickey's, although I believe CM's is more popular of the two.
The salads were wonderful, I loved the Mediterranian pasta salad, mmm yummy and the chicken bake cassorole, salmon and peel and eat shrimp, great breads and desserts. Mainly if you want it, they have it! The characters come around often, we had our pictures with everyone, twice :flower: . Plus it was just me and my BF so that was nice, that they didn't ignore us. There is also this parade of sorts with the kids and characters around the restaurant singing " Hip Hip Horray" or whatever the song is called, really cute.

Can you tell I loved it and want to go back :earboy2: That it is tied with Ohana's and CP for Breakfast as being my favorite meal experience from the 14 table service places that we ate at during our trip :flower:

We are thinking of CP for dinner too! I just think it is the most beautiful building!

We had an 8:30 time and it was great! The night we were there the park closed at 9:00 but they told us to take our time and they didn't rush us at all. We had the characters to come by serveral times. We liked it and it's now one our favorites! When we left we walked down Main Street with one else, it was like a ghost town, wow!!

It's definately one of our favorite places to eat! The food is great, and the interaction is really good too! I can't wait to go back. Have fun! :goodvibes

We had dinner there before MNSSHP on 10/16. We ate there in January and liked the food, so we decided to go back. The food was good, character interaction was so-so. They had the little parade so that was fine. When Piglet came by the lady at the table next to us JUMPED out of her chair and grabbed her DD and swooped over to see Piglet. After that he walked away! We missed Eeyore and Tigger somehow, and Pooh was over in the middle, not circulating around the tables. In the end we got a pic with Pooh and one other (can't remember which) and that was it. I told the "character handler" and she said after we paid our bill if we still hadn't seen all of them they would escort us over to whatever characters we missed. We were going back for breakfast another day so we let it go, but if we had never been before and weren't going back two days later we would have been upset by the lack of character interaction.
