Crystal Palace for dinner

Crystall place Is great for Dinner,I think every one Is going to have a diffrents of oppion of any place.Spicy?? thats would be a frist I herd of there?,they tend to make there food pretty basic staight across as far as the spices go,and they have a childrens area were they have food specfcly for them(and a few adults:confused3 ). And there staff(CM's) are great.

I have not had dinner there, but we love eating lunch there. For us it is the best lunch on property. I love their prepared salads.

The food at dinner was very good on our trip. My one complaint is that I have an older child who is a fairly light eater, so I get a little annoyed at paying the adult prices for her. If your older kids aren't big eaters, you might have the same issue. Still, I'm glad we did it once.

When we went last year I was really disappointed by the food after reading everyone rave about it. It's not that the food was "bad", but we have better buffets at home for half the price. We went to a bunch of buffets in vegas a couple years ago and the Disney buffets pale by comparison.

What I DID love about CP though was getting our pictures taken with Pooh, Tigger and Piglet. The picture of Piglet playing with DW's pigtails always makes me smile.

We loved CP and will be returning there for our next trip. We loved the mediterranian chicken so much that I found the recipie and make it at home now. My fav was their tirmissu (sp?) I had it at another restuarant and it was horrible compared to CP.

I'd go back just to have the flan from the dessert table.:goodvibes

lol, i had never had flan before until CP and at first i thought if was some slimy cheesecake... then my bf said no, that's flan!

i wasnt impressed first time around since i obviously was only used to simple foods but this trip we're going again and i'm going to be a bit more adventourous and try some of these 'fancy' foods.

i also wanted to eat there so i could get pics of my family with the characters.

dont cancel, you may enjoy it!

We ate lunch there last week. (I chose lunch because it cost a little less than dinner.) Food was absolutely wonderful! Flavors were between just outside of ordinary and extraordinary. Not so explosive that they should bother timid dinners, but a good opportunity to sample something new. Desserts were very tasty.

It took about an hour for all four characters to get to each table. Keep an eye out for them. You do not want to be in the buffet line when they get to your table!

I don't like spicy food either, and so I had some of the same reservations you do about Crystal Palace's dinner. There were a couple of pasta salads that were too spicy for me, but otherwise I had no problems. The beef and turkey were both really good.

And you're in luck too because this was the only buffet I've ever eaten at that I actually took a picture of the food stations. :lmao: I did it because I was intending to write a dining review, but haven't had time. So give me until Monday or so (going out of town w/o a computer tomorrow), and I'll post the pictures for you. :thumbsup2

CP is my very favorite dinner buffet at WDW! We never miss it on a trip. My kids are getting a little big for Pooh and friends but we enjoy it anyway =)

We have done breakfast, lunch and dinner at Crystal Palace and loved it each time. In fact, we're planning to have dinner there, in May. We think the food and atmosphere is great and I love the character parade- great pics

Thanks! Looking forward to those pics!popcorn::

We love CP for any meal. Everyone has different views you should have to see for yourself. Enjoy

I've had all three meals at the Crystal Palace and I love the place! We were there for breakfast and lunch last week and a kind cast member told us a little tip. He said that if your ADR is around 2:30 pm, not only do you have the lunch menu to choose from but they also start bringing out the dinner items too.

I have heard mixed reviews and im getting worried about our ADR's here. We have done breakfast 3 times and LOVED it! But I have heard it isnt so great for dinner and some have said its spicy tasting foods and it made so ill after feasting. Yes, I checked allears menu but I am curious. Whats the concensus? We are a family of 6. 2 adults and 4 rugrats ages 2,4,11 and 13.

Thanks Diser's!

We went to Crystal Palace for the 1st time for dinner in July and was indeed impressed. Way better than Chef Mickey's dinner. My two little ones (3 and 5) loved the food too and went back for seconds (somewhat picky at times). We loved it so much that when we went 2 weeks ago, we went back there for dinner again and loved it again. They are the only buffet table service that I been to that even had good chicken nuggets for the kids....yummy.
