DH and I have ADRs at Crystal Palace for dinner before Spectro and Wishes in Feb. We've never been to a character meal w/out kids. Will we feel foolish?Should we move to a monorail resort restaurant?

awww it will be so much fun! :goodvibes You'll feel like kids again and get some GREAT pictures :thumbsup2
Its so whimsical and cute inside and the characters are beautiful and so playful!!

Hi
I made ADR's there for my DH"s birthday last year. Our table was all decorated with confetti. The characters didn't really pay any attention to us, so that was fine with my DH. We had a great breakfast there. I don't think you'll feel foolish at all. I know we didn't. Have a great time!!

Go and have an AWESOME time!! You won't feel out of place at all.

We were at Crystal Palace last week and saw multiple tables of adult-only patrons. I swear, some of them were having more fun than the kids! :lmao:

Buffet is great too. It was my DH's favourite meal of the trip. :thumbsup2

Have a magical vacation!! pixiedust:

I've dined there a few times as a couple. Once with my fiance, and once with my dad (guys trip to WDW for his birthday). The characters don't treat you any different. They come over and will take pictures with you or sign autographs. And yes they will put pixie dust on your table if you are celebrating a birthday. It's not guaranteed but you just might get lucky like us.

My fiance and I with the characters for breakfast.

DH and I eat dinner at CP once every trip and enjoy the food very much. Sometimes we have our pic taken and sometimes we just wave at the characters and they wave back and move along. I think they are adept at knowing who wants a pic and who doesn't. GO,GO,GO and have a good time.

we also go with or without the grandkids or the neighborhood families.....we love the atmosphere and hubby loves the food too.
We were there in May with 8 people and kids and then we went in September for my hubbies birthday and we had a great time.....just him and I .....he got his mickey confetti on the table and a birthday card from the characters......we are also going again in April because we love it there...

Have a great time

Thanks all! Glad I didn't change my ressies! We've got plenty of nice "grownup" dining planned...so I think this'll be just the ticket! Also, never been to the CP in the dark!pixiedust:

We go every year for breakfast--and it's just been the two of us five out of the last siix trips. Go...you'll have a blast.

Dh and I did character meals all the time before we had our Princess They are so much fun!

Just watch out for Tigger! He messed up my hair! :lmao:

It was fun watching the little kids have fun.

Go and have a great time!

Sometimes I think the characters enjoy the adults a bit more, they usually sit and write notes to us on the table cloth at Cape May.

Enjoy your trip!!

Nope! Me and DBF (in our twenties) go to character meals all the time! No kids for us!
