We LOVE CP and have gone every time we've been to Disney. This trip will be the first time as a family with my 2.5 year old (previously it was always just the wife and I). I really want to take him to CP to meet Pooh. All the days we're there are booked, however the last time we were there I just walked up and was in and seated in like 15 minutes. Should I still keep checking the website like crazy to make a reservation?

I'd keep checking. It's usually sold out and most of the time people are turned away. What dates are you looking for? I have been looking for a couple of places to pop up and I've seen CP pop up several times for the last week in October. Usually I see it late at night. I'd guess between 10 pm and 12am EST.

You will have better luck looking if you put 4 people in the search instead of 3. It's harder to find a reservation for an odd number of people.

I usually have the best luck checking at 10a (East Coast time).

For our Feb trip, I snagged an extra CP breakfast reservation by calling two days before. People cancel all the time at CP. If you were looking at BoG, then it would be much much harder. But CP? I wouldn't give up hope.

What are you travel dates?

We're going to the Christmas parade on Fri Nov 8th so I thought that would be a good day to use table service in the morning. I've tried a bunch of times with both 2 and 3 guests to get a reservation but so far no luck.

Dates are Nov 5th-10th

Edit: And just like that I checked again and got a reservation for 8:50am. While at first I wanted an earlier reservation I think this will be perfect especially with a 2 year old and trying to get ready in the morning.

Awesome -- congrats!! That's pixie dust for you.

And if you want to move your reservation earlier, just check back the mornings two days and the day before.
