Crystal Palace for Breakfast or Dinner?

Thats a tough one because we love both meals there.

Breakfast is delish and we like to get into the park for a 8:05 seating.

We usually do dinner there before the MNSSHP or MVMCP, the adobe pork is my favorite!

We have only done the lunch, but want to try the dinner before MVMCPP this year. Did they do the little parade at dinner (my kids LOVED that and will be so disappointed if there isn't a parade) and how much time do you think I should allow. I want to be finished by 6:30. thanks!!!

Yup, they do the parade at dinner time. My kids loved marching in that one too!

We've done breakfast..and had Thanksgiving dinner there. All three times were excellent! The food is sooooo good, the place is very pretty and spotless. The characters don't seem to be as "rushed" as at the Donald's breakfastasaurus or at Chef Mickey's.

Thanksgiving dinner - they had turkey, ham, salmon and prime rib!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Breakfast is always delicious with all the fresh fruit, pastries and egg dishes. I think it's the best place to eat at MK, personally.

Even after our kids are grown it will be a must -stop for me and my hubby.

We do both breakfast and dinner each and every trip. They are must-do's for my two teenage sons and I and in just over a month we'll be there!!!
I'm about to explode with excitement!!

We are going for a late breakfast. We thought we would start with a pop tart, rides some rides, and then have a late brunch. Plus, it wouldnt be as crowded.

Our ADR is for 9:25 when the park opens at 9:00. I couldn't get any earlier! Will we have to wait until the park opens at 9:00 to go in? I'm just wondering how long it'll take to get through the crowd at the gates?

My family will be at WDW the second week of June. My DD would love to eat lunch at CP with Pooh and the gang. Being on vacation, we don't really want to have to be tied to down to a rigid dining plan. If we go to the CP around 11:30 (when they open for lunch), can we get by without ADRs? Do they still take walk-ins at lunch? I was told that restuarants fill up very quickly, will we be able to just walk-in at any of them for dinner? Some places we were interested in are O'hana's, fish & chips at the walk-up window in UK, Maya Grill, Rain Forest Cafe, Brown Derby. Thanks. :)

We've never eaten dinner there, but go to breakfast at least once a trip.
We LOVE this restaurant/breakfast. They have a great selection and the restaurant is beautiful.

I also like walking up Main St. when the park is empty. Great photo ops!!

We have eaten all three meals there and would rate them as follows:

#1 = BREAKFAST
#2 = DINNER
#3 = LUNCH

We enjoy them all, but that breakfast is the BEST. The deep fried french toast and cheese potatoes can't be beat! DS proclaims it the best bacon in all of WDW. I also like the strawberries with real whipped cream...YUMMY!

I agree that the 8:05 a.m. ressie is great. Going down an empty Main St. and snapping photos is wonderful.

Can someone please explain how to check in for the early ADRS at CP? Whenever we've been there, even for an 8:05 ADR, it is very chaotic in getting there.

Otherwise, CP is definitely one of our family favorites!

Is there a way to get a little later? This is prime time to be on the rides, instead of the restaurant. ;)

ok, I am wondering now..... I made a lunch reservation for CP around 2 and I am reading ALL the posts about first morning breakfast with the park empty (for a photo op)....I went to change to breakfast and it was totally BOOKED! I wish I would have called sooner to make an 8:15 reservation.
Now I will be enjoying the park, stop to enjoy a wonderful CP lunch, and then back around the park for the rest of the day/night.
Can anyone give a good plan on what direction to start and the best way to catch a lot (while stopping at 2 for lunch)? Thanks:banana:
