Crystal Palace for breakfast: Bets mode of transportation

Greetings,

My wife and I will be having breakfast at the Crystal Palace. We have an 8:05 a.m. reservation and are staying over on the Boardwalk. I have a couple of questions. (FYI, we will have a car to use).

1). What is the best mode of transportation at that time of the morning? (i.e. bus, car, boat, other)

2). Dependant upon the mode of transporation, how long will it take to get to the Magic Kingdom?

I am not sure what time the buses, monorail, etc start running that time of the morning. Thanks

The buses will be your best bet. They start running an hour before the first breakfast reservation. The first reservaitons are at 7am so they would start at 6. If you drive I don't think the trams at the MK will be running that early so you might need to walk. The monorail should be running but it is not always and the boats don't start until right before park opening IIRC. At that time there will not be many people on the buses.

I would take the resort bus. At that hour in the morning it's pretty quick and not very crowded.

Hi, To make your 8am res. you should leave your room no later than 7:15 and possibly as early as 7am. I would take the car and park in the MK parking lot. Then get on a tram to the front gate. If the park does not open till 8am you can be allowed in early with your CP reservation. It will take 5-10 mins. to walk to the CP and I have heard that you can get some GREAT pics of an empty park if you are in before the main gate opens for the day. CP is my favorite for Breakfast!! Buses to the MK are up and running by 6:30am...every day. Sometimes you can get one at 6:15!!!
So, for an 8:05 ADR in MK, I would be out at the bus stop by 7am. These buses don't run quite as frequently as the 'regular' buses do...so if you just miss one, you could have a longish wait for the next one. Better safe than sorry.

We took the bus from the YC...first bus of the am. No one else got on and we were there in plenty of time. In fact we waited about 10 minutes at the gate. DD and family took bus from THV and they beat us there!

We had 8:05 breakfast reservations at Crystal Palace last week...we were picked up at the bus stop around 7:30 and watched the opening of the park show at 7:55 ish.

Definitely the bus. And when you get there be sure to take some photos before everyone gets on Main Street!

What we have always done is take a cab and have them drop us off right by the entrance to the CR

We have a car but it is just easier to do it this
