Crystal Palace early check in

We were wanting to make reservations for breakfast at Crystal Palace but all the breakfast spots were taken. The first lunch spot was available at 11am. I have seen that you can check in up to 15 minutes prior to your reservation. If we check in at 1045 would we still be able to eat from the breakfast buffet? Also would we have any chance of paying for breakfast? We were so bummed when we saw that there were no breakfast reservations.

Keep checking, up until the day you want to go. In my experience they change over from breakfast to lunch around 10:30-10:45, and for a little while they’ll have lunch food one one side and breakfast on the other. But if your reservation is during lunch you’ll be charged that price. But again, keep trying for breakfast and maybe try with different numbers of people, like 5 instead of four.

But you have a LUNCH ADR and will be charged accordingly.

There is a chance that IF you are let in early you could sneak in some breakfast food before they fully switch.
Just because you can check in 15 minutes early does not at all in anyway mean you'll be let in before your actual ADR time.

Don't know if you can have both breakfast and lunch but the early check in is actually 20 mins, not 15. No guarantee you will be seated as soon as you check it either, sometimes it takes a while to get seated.

As someone else said, that's a lunch ADR and you will be charged for that.

Keep checking. Some of my best luck and finding reservations has been the day before or even day of. Sadly, people selfishly hoard multiple reservations until the last minute that they can cancel, but at some point they'll drop them and that's when I grab them.

Yeah, that hoarding annoys me. You’ll see people on here say “I got xyz ADRs for breakfast lunch and dinner for 3 different days because I’m not sure which one I’ll want…” or “I’ve got xyz restaurant for 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30…” Meanwhile some family somewhere is locked out of getting an ADR because this person has multiple.

I haven't seen hoarding much since it went to 60+10.
