Crystal Palace breakfast

However, do continue and I can take it.
Guess I'll add my two cents here. I've said this before, and I'll say it again.

I wish WDW would require a deposit of everyone making a meal reservation. When you show up, your deposit goes toward your bill, but if you fail to show up, or cancel too late, say within two weeks of your reservation, your deposit is lost.

I think $25. per person, per reservation, would be fair. And I bet this policy would make it much easier for us who make reservations that we really intend to use.

On our first ever visit to WDW, we wandered up to MK in the morning (about 8am), a very nice man on the gate checked our tickets and let us through. It was only when we were wandering around a deserted MK, we realised that we probably shouldn't be there. We got loads of pictures of an empty main street and the castle with no-one around. We then spent a good while chatting with a CM, who pointed out that the people let in early are those who have early ADRs. He never asked us to leave, though, and we have been twice since then, entered early (when we actually HAVE had ADRs) but never once been asked for our ressie confirmation.

OP, I reckon you probably don't even need the phoney CP breakfast ADR. I vote for turning up at the gate at 8 am and seeing if they'll let you in anyway :thumbsup2

2 weeks?:scared1:

You must have the good fortune to not get sick or not have your kids get sick while on vacation.

I have never made a reservation with the intention of not going-never made 2 for the same time just to decide at the last minute which one to go to but I have had sick children on vacation. No fun at all and the thought of being charge that kind of fee would make a bad situation much worse!
