Crystal Palace breakfast question

We are planning a Thanksgiving trip to WDW and want to eat a Breakfast at the Crystal Palace. If the park opens at 9:00 am and we have a 8:00 am ADR, will we be able to get a bus from POR to MK. I have seen info that there are buses for Character Breakfasts and also info that you need to drive. Has anyone done this recently and used WDW buses to get to the park on time for an early breakfast?

We had an early breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and the bus got us there from Saratoga Springs with plenty of time to spare. Better safe than sorry, though. You can ask any bus driver for info on the morning buses.

We did this in Oct. 06 while staying at ASMo. The park opened at 9:00 and we had reservations at 8:20 at CP. The buses got us there in plenty of time! We were sure to be at the bus stop early on that day so not to miss the bus, but had NOOOO problem - You should be fine!

The breakfast busses always run a 1/2 hr. before the first seating which was always an 8:05 seating in the past. We jumped on at 7:30 for CP from OKW, no problem

We got a 7:00a bus for our 8:00a ADR at CRT when we were staying at Boardwalk.

We got a 7.20 bus from POR to AK for an 8.00am character brekkie.

We have done the Crystal Palace breakfast earlier than the park opening for the past three trips. We have also stayed at PO-FQ and never had a problem with bus transportation. My wife loves to go into th MK for pictures before the crowds get there. One time we got a picture of my daughter with Minnie and Mickey together with the castle as the backdrop. Hope you have a great time. By the way, it helps to have your ADR number with you. Go into the MK through the turstiles on the far left. There will be a cast member with a clipboard with all of the pre-park opening ADR's.

Buses to the parks normally start running two hours before the parks open. (A 9 AM open means 7 AM buses.) You can do the math to determine if it works for you.

Should be ok. We caught the 7:00a bus for an 8:00a CRT ADR and we were at the gate pretty early, waiting for the park to open. We got hear the opening ceremony which we had never caught before. I'd say we were at the gate by about 7:30a.

We had an 8:05 ADR @ Crystal Palace this past Thanksgiving day, we thought we would get in before everyone else but the MK opened @ 8:00 that day.

We will actually be eating at Crystal Palace on Tuesday morning when Epcot has EMH. Most days we will probably eat in the room for breakfast but I thought it would be fun to get into MK early one day.
