Crystal Palace breakfast or LTT lunch?

On our MK day I'd like to eat a meal in the park. I am trying to decide between Crystal Palace for breakfast or LTT for lunch. I have 3 kids ages 9, 7 & 4. The characters at CP are no biggie for us. We have a few other character meals already.

Which should I choose?

Just also thought of one more option. LTT for dinner that day. Is their dinner better than lunch?

My choice would be Crystal Palace for breakfast. Especially if you can get an ADR before the park opens. Great pictures can be taken with the Magic Kingdom "to yourself."

Have you read the menus and are still undecided?

Here's one thing to consider...CP is a buffet. Up and down, up and down, mixed dining experience as your family takes turns going to the buffet, greeting characters...not much sitting. LTT, family style, would involve more sitting. Would you welcome the sitting meal at lunch or dinner more than the start off the day buffet? Think about your MK day and which fits in better.

If the characters don't matter to you then I'd suggest you consider whether or not you want to stop your MK touring later in the day to have a meal at LTT. Personally I'd go for an early breakfast at CP, but I happen to have a thing for Eeyore and a distaste for Stouffer's frozen food. ;) If you're a family who loves breakfast foods there's a pretty good spread at CP in the mornings plus, if you get an early enough ADR, there's that added bonus of empty park pics. Last May we did breakfast at CP on our last day and it gave us the fuel to make it through a three park see our faves one more time marathon. We didn't need to eat again till it was time to catch the ME bus to the airport at 7PM! But in the end, whatever your choice, it's Disney so you know it's gonna be fun!

We have had CP dinner and LTT lunch, never had CP breakfast. I have to say that LTT lunch was one of our favorite meals that trip. The food was delicious and the server was excellent. We were on the DDP and tipped him above and beyond the included gratuity because he was so attentive and pleasant. There was nothing "frozen Stouffer's" about it. I had a really yummy fresh chicken salad (Colony Salad I think) and DH had a pasta meal. DS had a kids mini corn dogs meal with veggies. The LTT dinner is a character meal with Thanksgiving-type food (could this be the frozen Stouffer's food the poster mentioned?) which I do not like so we won't do that one. CP dinner was good - typical buffet with a few stand out selections, but DS (then 2) really enjoyed meeting Pooh and friends.

Both have good characters. But I think I prefer the CP breakfast. The food is very good and its a great way to start the day. LTT food is more filling and I tended to feel very stuffed and tired after eating it. That's just me.

Or you could really mix it up and do Crystal Palace for lunch. My DS15 specifically requested it, because he likes the food so much!

We like doing the sit down meals at lunch because it gives us a chance to get into the AC and sitting down in the middle of the day.
