I was hoping to get an early ADR for breakfast here, but I had to wait longer than I wanted to be able to start scheduling because we had a minor hiccup in our travel plans. Now, the only breakfast opening for the day we will be in MK is at 9:30 and I don't know if I really want to take that time slot. There are several lunch openings and 3:55 or 7:20 dinner slots.

This will be my kids' first time to go and I'm trying to decide which would be best. They will be ages 9 & 6 when we go. I was thinking maybe one of the lunch slots would be good to give them a midday break? Dinner might be nice too, though. Any suggestions from the more experienced crowd?

We always have a QS at the hotel (POFQ or WL), and book a 430-530pm dinner.... we usually travel in Sept w/FD, so it is more bang for the buck with our TS

From what I have read their breakfast is the best. I have eaten dinner there and thought it was good.

We have had both breakfast and dinner at Crystal Palace. We liked dinner a lot, but we LOVED breakfast. It was very good - hot, plentiful, buffet line was clean and refilled often. Pooh's puffed french toast is my personal favorite thing there, but there are lots of yummy choices. Character interaction has always been good, for both dinner and breakfast. I think I just enjoy the variety of foods offered at breakfast more.

Crystal palace is one of my personal favs... and I started with breakfast... but it has a tendency to be heavy to me. (Hello!! breakfast lasagna made with waffles, pancakes, fruit and custard!!)

However... I started going there for lunch now. It's actually my preferred time. I get some fav rides done early... have a sit down, relaxing lunch (in love with the salmon, and the broccoli. Trust me. I've brought home recipes:)) After lunch, I can regroup and calmly attack the rest of the park! It's just so nice to literally chill out in the heat of the day... and get ready to go again!

And having been there for all three meals... I'll tell you, you can't go wrong at CP:)

Good luck!!

I think it depends mostly on your touring style. We originally planned to do CP for lunch toget the mid-day break the OP mentioned, but opted for breakfast because we were able to get a pre-opening ADR.

If you are planning to get there early and/or stay at the park all day I would go for the lunch break. That gives you more flexibility in the evening in case the kids start to burn out.

Have Fun!
