Crystal Palace breakfast as a solo?

I'm taking my first-ever solo trip in March. (My husband can't go this time, boo!) It's going to be just a short trip-- get to WDW on a Sunday morning and leave on Tuesday night.

Anyway, I was thinking maybe I'd like to do the character breakfast at CP, because I've never done it and it's not really the kind of thing my husband would enjoy anyway, so I may as well get it while I'm by myself! I made an ADR for 8:20 for a morning MK opens at 9.

How is CP for people eating alone? Do the characters still interact with loners? I don't mind having only minimal interaction, but I'm not sure my ego could take being completely snubbed by Tigger!

Also, how does one get into the MK for an early seating? What gate, how do I prove I'm really allowed in, etc. I will have a rental car, so I won't have to worry about the bus getting me there on time.

Can't answer the getting in early part, though I've heard it's no problem.

And I've not done CP solo, but we did pre-DD. We missed a connection and drove all night from Atlanta. We were starved! We only wanted to eat! But the characters stopped by anyway. They will interact as much or as little as you want. They even lingered as I think we were getting seconds when someone came by. Unfortunately, we shooed them off with our free hand as our fork hand was shoveling into our mouths.

But I think you'll be fine solo. I would guess the CM would take a picture for you, if you want.

And have some breakfast lasagna for us!

You can make an ADR as usual. Make sure it's in the 8:00 hour on a non-AM EMH day. When you get to MK, head to the far end of the turnstyles.

I am envious that you get to go solo. My dh and adult children don't understand why i would want to go solo once in a while. I feel perfectly safe at WDW!
Anyway back to your question---of course that would be a great place to eat solo. MAKE a reservation though for anywhere you want to eat. The food is great and the cast members are awesome. Enjoy!

I had lunch as a solo at crystal palace. I loved every second of it. I sat at a table for two, and was as happy as could be. I will be eating there again in May.
