Crystal Palace-6pm dinner on a Thurs night, first week in June

Is 6:00 a good time for Crystal Palace dinner?

Will it be really crowded? We will be at Disney Quest and Downtown Disney that morning since Disney Quest doesn't open till 11:30 probably won't get out there till 3:30 knowing my kids and video games. We would still have to travel back to Contemporary then get to MK on time for Crystal Palace reservation, hopefully with at least a small break in there so I don't really want to make the reservation earlier.

Our plan after dinner is to see the 1st Spectro parade and Wishes, then hang out at the park riding rides till closing as next morning we will be sleeping in and hanging out a pool hotel anyway and if my youngest gets tired, he can fall asleep in stroller and my husband and I can trade off riding rides with the older kids.

Not sure what you're asking....if you are making an ADR, why are you concerned about the crowd??

sure there will be an early parade. The last two trips were in June and there was only one parade at 9:00 PM. I know the hours are not out for June yet since we're going again.

CP is very popular and yes it will be busy at 6:00 PM. It usually takes about 75 minutes for all of the characters to make the rounds.

Thanks! I was thinking it would be pretty crowded especially if there is only 1 parade. I hope there's two if my youngest is looking wide wake, we may try for 2nd parade if there is one. Probably won't get a chance to ride much of the rides, then till after the fireworks which I guess won't matter as it will be our second night at MK.

breaks in the middle of the day your kids will probably be alright. Last trip kids were 4 and 8 and we left the MK after the fireworks three nights. They napped well the following day.

Our reservations were at 5:30 when we went. It did take awhile for the characters to make their rounds, however, it took us that long to get our food and eat anyway. The time seemed to go by faster than it really did. I think by then though there won't be any characters there anymore.

Nothing has been announced, and this is the first rumor I've heard about that.

would be sad and disappointing. CP is my personal favorite character meal. The food is good with a wide variety and the Pooh characters are great. If CP goes characterless then MK has only one character meal which seems just wrong.
