We got in late on the ADR game. I was able to secure Crystal Palace for 5 p.m. on Monday, 12/10 (dinner) and Lunch on Wednesday 12/12 at 11:50 a.m.

We will have our 16 month old. This will be his first character meal - he does love Pooh and has several at home (even one that is bigger than he is!) I anticipate that his sleeping shouldn't be too much of a problem - with either meal, we'd go after he had a good nap, although, there is the possibility, he'll be down to 1 long afternoon nap by then. (He is still on 2 a day now 9 am and 1 pm)

Which would you pick? The dinner at 5 pm or the lunch at 11:50 am?

Which would you think would be less crowded / hectic?

I've never had lunch at CP, but we had dinner there in Aug. We had an early seating, maybe 5:00 or 5:30, and it was pretty chaotic in the beginning. As soon as we were seated, we were bombarded with characters! My older two kids are 8 & 6, so they were fine with it, but it could be unsettling for a baby. My 9 month old burst into tears when Pooh came over, but I think that's because Pooh came from behind him and he didn't see him coming.

If lunch is less busy, that might be a better option for your little one.

Have fun! :goodvibes

Hi, there. When my kids were younger, we also did lunch there. This year, we did dinner. My "baby" is 4 years old. To me, it is much more crowded at dinner and there's a good chance of missing the character when you are standing in the longer dinner buffet lines. Lunch, while still a bit busy, seemed a bit more slow paced. We actually really love the Crystal Palace and always manage to have a meal there. You can't go wrong with either seating.

Good luck with your choice!

:)

We did lunch at CP - our first time there and lunch was very good. Lunch wasn't chaotic at all - but I've never had dinner there. I'd probably pick the lunch.
