Hi all,We have offered to take my parents to WDW with us next year. DD is now at school so we are stuck with mid August.
I got some quotes a few months ago but dithered over booking. Today i got more quotes and for the group of us (4 adults, one 3 year old and one 6 year old) are about £600 more than before.
So now I am thinking i should hurry up and book in case prices increase again. However, a few people have said prices may drop because of lower oil prices and expected recession....I don't know whether to wait until Sep (11 months prior) so I can look on Expedia etc or whether to just book now and try not to look at prices again after that.
We are Frequent Virgins with 10% off. Flydrive Departing Gatwick on Sat 15 Aug for 14 nights, 4 adults, 2 kids, 8 seater car, Platinum insurance. For this Virgin Holidays quote £5766.60. This seems like a lot but i know the taxes and surcharges cost so much now.
We have DVC so wont have extra hotel or villa costs.
I got a quote from TCD which came out about £5000 but we really prefer Virgin (or maybe BA) We like DTD check in and really dont like Sanford airport.
I wish i had booked when the prices were first released- it looked pricey then but better now! I am a novice to the whole August flight thing. D'oh.
Any thoughts on the current VH price? So worried availability will go while i wait for a lower price.
Thanks so much
Mandy
