Crying tears of joy!!!! sorta long

Tonight was a major milestone for someone I hold close to my heart.......Tonight was Brodey's high school graduation!!!

Brodey has been like a little brother to me for around 10 years and I am feeling lots of things tonight.....I am overjoyed for him to have accomplished something in his life, I am sad that he is not that annoying little 9 year old I met and I am anxious(sp) for him to move forward and greet his adult life.

I didn't find myself thinking "oh no I am getting older" instead I was thinking i am watching this young adult grow up and I felt like his mother, I wanted to cry tears of joy for this child whom I am so proud of!!!!

I support his decision to go into the Marines as soon as they have a spot for him and think he will do an awesome job protecting and serving our country......this angel has done a great job growing up, he is responsible and caring and doesn't forget those of us who love him very much!!!

So Brodey Wayne.......I love you more than words can say and I am so very proud of you today and always!!!
