Crush Queue Question

Hi,

I read on dlptoday.com that the queue area of Crush's coaster has been changed. Apparently, there are now separate queues for single riders and the queue area is more "logical" and less "improvised" (no more ugly ropes and messy queues?). But most importantly: by adding a single rider queue, hopefully the waiting times have gone down... :)

This was all supposed to have changed some 2 months or so ago, so I was wondering if anyone has had any recent experience in the new situation? I am SO hoping to ride Crush on my September visit - I wasn't able to in the last 2 visits due to enormous queues, all day every day...

Can anyone provide me with some good news? :worship:

All I know is that the other work on the ride finished 2 months ago, but the single rider line and entrance booth weren't done in time, which is why they're still being worked on now. So as far as I can see (from multiple twitter discussions) the single rider line isn't yet open, but it SURELY can't be far away from being completed.

C x

I have read reports from the weekend saying the normal queue was around 70mins (normally 90 mins) and the single rider was around 30mins.:goodvibes

Im hoping the queues for crush will go down considerably when ratatouille opens, then i guess thats just redirecting the problem to ratatoille :confused3
I wont know where to run too when those gates open :rotfl2:

hee hee that's exactly what we've said. We are presuming our boy who will then be 2 years old will be able to join us on Ratatouille but we will have to baby switch on Crush...

We just got back from a 5 day trip. The single rider queue seemed to be open about half the time. At best it was half the wait time as the regular and at times it was longer (seriously--and based on what we saw when we rode, this was realistic).

Park open was 10. At 1O there would already be a line up of people from the front of the queue (they opened the turnstiles early) into the entry building--at least a 60 minute wait. By a quarter after the wait was 90 minutes (ans single riders was never open before noon that we saw).

Waits were actually lower mid afternoon (around parade time) and best if you hopped in right before park close at 6 (we got in line at 2 to 6 and had a 25 minute wait; at that time the last single rider ended up with our group-she had waited 40 minutes. DS hopped over at 5 til 6:00 another time and only waited 20 minutes--in the regular line, single rider was closed).
