We rode this over Easter Break. The "bottom out" factor is definitely something to keep in the forefront of your mind. It happened to all four of us on our first run. Definitely raise your bottom up right from the start! They require the lightest riders in front and heaviest in back. The back rider will be covered by the force of the water. It's great! This is not on the paper maps yet. It's marked on their free stading maps with an X. Some guests were unaware it was even there.
The middle que is the most fun! It's the only one they allow the 3-person tube on. It is most like a roller coaster. One ride has a noticeable period of darkness, but nothing too bad. The lines were quite long for us as the wave pool had been closed that day! If you ride the 3-person tube, you got to ride more often as there was no wait. You could get right out of the pool with your 3-person tube and head right back up. There was quite a wait for 2-person tubes.
We were there Day 3 after opening, and we loved it! We also agreed that the middle slide was the best! Theming is amazing, and it's better going with 2 people vs one. The added weight makes for a better ride! Careful at the bottom though - we flew out and flipped more times than I could count! Great addition to TL!
